- The Colorado Rockies are stuck in a bad spot. In a division they've never won in their 30 year history and it's not getting any easier. The Dodgers have Shohei and others with an endless payroll, the Diamondbacks just won the NL and have a young team only getting better, and the Padres have major star power themselves.
So it's time to try something completely new to try and overcome these odds: A Draft Only Rebuild.
A staple of the channel, the Draft Only Rebuild challenges us to build the team up using only the Rookie and Rule 5 drafts after we tear down the ENTIRE 40 man roster after the first season.
One major twist added for this year: Trades. I am allowing 3 trades in this series, but only for prospects, and only for one prospect per trade. So we will need to time them right and make sure they hit to ensure we don't waste them.

Love this series bro! You inspired me to fire up my dusty PS4 for the first time in 2 years lol. Dropped some 💰 for the 1 year PS plus subscription along with MLB The Show 24 all in one day. Will now be eating noodles and eggs for the next few weeks 🥲

Considering all of Dollander's Per/9s are roughly similar, he might all at once become elite once most things gets in the mid 70s. Dollander rounding into form at the same time Dorsey is called up would be amazing. Redemption arc. Generational Arc. Now we have hometown hero arc. Great Series!
Yeah he has time to continue his development while most our future is still in the minors.
Wish theyd update the pitching generation in the draft process, hand out some more outlier quirks and make it so every pitcher isnt 5'11...kills realism for me seeing all these tiny pitchers, I manually make mine a couple inches taller.
They certainly still have big pitchers being generated, and there are sub six foot pitchers in real life, they just need to get the percentage right so that more of them are big.
I do agree with quirks though. For everyone not just pitchers it’s been a bad system for the last two games.

Great start by Ungerer! Team defense is going to be key for him. Imagine how tough he'll be once he gets his K/9 up.

Yeah some tough growth is fine while we get some more players up. If he can be good by the time the team is good it will all be good.

I know it’s only 4 innings but I think if u switch Brennen and Benoit it will help both players progress better. At 58 overall idk if he’s ready to be a starter. Just a thought
Yeah I'll want a bigger sample size before I make any decisions like that. I like Brennan in LR because his stamina is in the 60s but I'll change it if needed.
