Hi Chuck and Paige, Just an FYI. A growing business in the U.S. is now called food halls. They take over abandoned buildings and install these food halls. Cooks from countries all over the world cook their country's food and people come to eat and enjoy some of their favorite foods . Chicago has opened 9 food halls. Some have long tables and benches where people meet and their love of the authentic food gives them all something in common. These are the "real" recipes that can be found in kitchens, local restaurants or street food markets all over the world. It's America's way of recognizing their poor eating habits and replacing the carbs and sugar with healthier and tasty ways to eat.

That’s a really WoW huge gas station you stopped at just after Chumpon. It looks like a supermarket for fuel as well, not just food. By the way, PTT has made some big investments with a Chinese electric car manufacturer and will be producing e-vehicles in the not so distant future. This means practically all their stations will be even more complete, being electrified as well. However, I’m not sure what the large selection of knives were for, but that maybe an indicator of the many Freddy Crugers that victimize the many travelers that frequent the route. Yea! That kind of selection could end up being useful ;)... Enjoying you guys trip a lot!

Stayed a couple of months after to help out the locals then moved back to Las Vegas to take care of family. Anyway hoping to retire back in Thailand very soon 62 now and just hanging onto job (poker dealer) for the insurance. So thanks for all the videos hope I get to hang out with you and Joe one day soon. Jeffrey Stecher Henderson Nevada Take care guys. 😜

Eating is a great hobby and nice to try different things and that is what I like about the markets so much yummy looking food. Please wait a few years from now, the train with dual tracks is underconstruction. It will be super convenient from BKK down south or other parts of the country. All new infrastructures like trains ( conventional & high speed nationwide), new s-curves industries, up graded 3 AP Donmuang- Suvarnnaphummi- U tapao, enlarged 2 deep sea ports Laemchabang & Mabtaphut to reach world class level, new motorways networks to make the kingdom smaller, and many more to come soon in order to make Thailand escape from the so called middle higher income trap nation within the year 2573 ( BE ) as the current administration firmly promised.

    • @notime2bsad

There are MANY easy ways to get there cheap from Bangkok. Many buses at bus station, many travel services all over that will get you a van, taxi service also a very inexpensive train that will take you right to the Ban krut train station. Also i try to share a tool called google maps to make travel easy most places in the world. If yo click on the Dir tab (direction) on google maps from BKK to Ban Krut and click the transit (an icon that looks like a train) you will be directed to time schedules, dates, and pricing for the train. Also where else a train will take you. Chumpon has an airport from BKK and a short ride to Ban Krut. Inside the airports are endless cheep options to travel to your next destination........Thailand is easy to get around.

But seriously.. that would be all. I love Thailand and have never been there. I cant wait till i can go. Your videos help to learn. So maybe just more descriptive if anything. Yeas "Varmkorv" is Hot-dog (sausage). But what is the Hot-dog in English?? Apparently there was a fierce competition in the city of *New work* around 1860 and the competitor claimed that the other German (immigrant) had Hot-dog made of dogs (which may have been a convenient misunderstand from the German 'dachs- *hund* sausages'.. Hund = Dog). I assume real Hot-Dogs are common in Thailand :-)

Out if Surat Thani, Chumphon, and Ban Krat which would be the better place to live in your opinion? I want a place that is safe to ride a motorbike without so many tourist. Thanks

Anywhere in prachuap khiri khan or chumphon. Chumphon has a airport to easily get to Bangkok which makes it better in my opinion. Also if it were me I wouldn't live anywhere longer than one year while discovering Thailand

You can simply open Google Map app on your phone and it will tell you where you're located. You can get the coordinates of your location as well.

It is spelled in English on google, Ban Krut. But in Thai it sounds more like Baan Groot. Just trying to help you say it correctly before. Maybe today. "I don't care" 555 Also yes I don't have to remember, Everyday is a new day for me;) Cheers
