It’s funny everyone loved the rane one till pioneer came out with a copy cat and now everyone hates on rane. DJs hop from one device to another every time someone says this is a game changer.
I have all of them as well...The rev7 is all hype with a Bunch of issues . Rane one has major issue as well (had 3 replacements ) The T7 is very underrated, that lil guy is a st8 beast and once you change out 1)slip mats to a blade or a butter rug 2) default fader to the custom T7 inno fader (your working with a true winner 3) its only 11pounds in weight plus..that price point!
I own the rane one, and it gets the job done almost 30yrs in this business, and i can rock out on anything. I have 1200s and also the rane 12s. I guess it depends on what type of dj you are. I need my tools good enough for me to rock my crowd, and that's it.
You missing the legendary Numark NS7-3
T7 rocks!!!❤ super light and does the same job as the other 2 pricier ones… my opinion.
...guess we have consciously chosen to not include the legendary ns7 then?...ur not gonn telll me u been into DJing for 30 years and never heard of that deck dude. I mean come on dude! Lol seriously? Thats like saying ive known pokemon and been heavy into it for 30 years but ive never heard of Pikachu 🤨
Me just waiting for the final piece to the puzzle …. Motorized fully standalone. I refuse to use a laptop ever again. It’s 2024. Enough.
To this day the best, most feature rich motorized DJ controller I have ever had was the
For general DJ's (EDM) on a tight budget then sure...Hercules. But consider that it's plastic, won't last as long and will depreciate much quicker. If you have extra money get a 2nd hand Rane One IMO. Built like a tank, pro fader and proper case metal platters so good for a more turntablist feel. Plus is will probably hold value better. I vote Rane one because it's more classic and pro feeling. Rev 7 also over impeded and 'hot' signal but Rane One very smooth and warm sound.
let me get one of those you dont need 3 of them wtf so greedy
The pitch fader in battle mode is non-sensical on a controller. It was all about tone arm clearance in turntables. Take away the tone arm & there's absolutely no reason to do it aside from novelty emulation. When Rane designed the Twelve & One, they had a pool of 100 hardcore turntablists. Early prototypes had the pitch in battle mode & majority of the turntablists they had in the Beta pool voted against it. They also had a mirrored layout on One protypes like the old Numark NS7 series & that was voted down as well. Reaching over the platter up top to pitch a song when you don't have to is stupid. Work flow wise, it makes zero sense either. Build quality wise, The One trumps them all. It feels as solid as a turntable. Rev 7 being the most expensive feels just as plastic as the T7 but I'd expect it from the T7 at it's price point.
After the Rane 1…ideas started to come in play…something has to be made in order for more innovations to kick in…I like all of em. I own a Rane and I’m glad I got it…of course a new developed controller is gonna come out.
My Numark NS7III is still rocking like some technics 1200
I'm old school DJ witch I started with turntable back in the 80's.
My gripe with the Rane One they made the mixer section so slim and the platters are not even symmetrical. Total design fail.
Been waiting for a comparison like this!
WoW beautiful, Hope I have THIS controller soon 🙏🙏🙏🙏
T7 Premium is just amazing for the price .. love the stems controls that the other 2 don't have and it now has a decent crossfader
Just missing the Numark Ns7 . Another
Traktor S4 MK3, Numark NS7iii (a little older) both motorised
