Like him or not heâs in a revenue driven business and he brings ears to the radio and eyes to the TV. And that always will be bullet point number one on his job description. I donât remember Michael Vick or Plaxico Burress having to stock shelves or work at a bakery when they got out of prison and nor should they have and neither should Carton. In the past l didn't see your point as clearly as l see it now in the present; l have to more or less agree with you. What he did was no minor stint, people have been given major sentences for similar crimes. The support and pandering he received, while talking like he piled up a bunch of speeding tickets clearly seeing no evidence of regret or genuine remorse was so distasteful to me. Plus l did not see any indication of how he let down his friends and family in his interview. l still see him as a condescending, babbling buffoon. We are talking about a man who was constantly rude to his audience as well as the guests on his show; I'll never forget how rude and disrespectful he was to a humble and classy Eli Manning, while making him the butt of really degrading jokes over and over again. Nevertheless l certainly have no pity for Craigie as they affectionately call him. Personally l have no problem with Boomer and Gio eventhough we obviously have to deal with the self righteous and ego driven Boomer.

Given Boomer and Gio's ratings stability, Maggie Gray's contract ending, Joe Benigno always discussing retirement, and Mike Francesa just being impossible to listen to at this point, I could WFAN giving Craig Carton another shot. But I can see their leaving Boomer and Gio as is and putting him elsewhere, just a hunch.
