I like Joe’s rants and he’s such a fan it’s great, he’s just so wrong on this. Verlander is 40 and hasn’t been great, plus the team is going nowhere, he should be traded. And saying that Alonso is this great hitter is also wrong. I like Alonso, but we gotta be fair, he bats less than .250 and a lot of his HRs aren’t in key spots. He can’t hit with RISP. I hate to say it, but a trade that will provide a real player coming back would have to include Alonso

The Angels never had a winning season under Billy Eppler and i can't think of a single drafted player Eppler has drafted that's done a thing, he wasn't gm who drafted Mike Trout.
