Thanks for the tour of Cades Cove. Gigi Cupcakes looked delicious and so did Little Tokyo Hibachi. Fun day!
Happy Thanksgiving and thank you for all the time and effort you put into your channel.
Gigi’s is awesome . Love it
We love Cade’s Cove and area
I love Pigeon Forge! It's beautiful! Thank you for sharing your channel ❤️
Thankee! We had a ball exploring that area for the first time!! :D
You were SOOOOO CLOSE to The Blue Moose, my all time fav. place to eat while visiting. Great video! We also get Gigi's as well HAHA!
Ah, I don’t think anyone mentioned that one. Dang. Maybe next time!! :D
That naughty Bob...remember when it was Kilroy (Kilroy was here)? You finally got to Cades Cove...that was interesting to see all the old log-cabin style houses, barns and churches. The Hibachi and sushi looked yummy! You must have saved the cupcakes for later consumption, I figure because that looked like a heap of food!
One cupcake disappeared I believe the next day, and the other became part of our breakfast on our last full day there, ha ha... recycling!! :P
Slow creek spin!!
Cade’s Cove is my very favorite place in the Smokies! ❤️❤️❤️
And my husband’s friend was married in the Primitive Baptist Church a couple of years ago. ❤️
Oh wow, that's awesome! We enjoyed puttering around and getting a dose of history for sure!! :D
Welcome to East TN. I love living in this area.
We had a ball with our first visit, and we're already trying to figure out when we can come back again!! :D
Everytime I have seen a bear in Cades Cove has been on one of the shortcut roads. But almost always see deer. Maybe the recent rain kept them from venturing out. Looked like a fun day. My wife also likes ice cream on cold days.
Ahaaaaa, good to know! I think we were a little late in the season for bears, sadly. Maybe next time!! :P
When I was a teenager we used to ride bikes around the loop, it was a lot of fun. But now theres so many cars I don't think it would be possible.
Nice! In the warmer weather, I think they still reserve one day a week just for bikes and pedestrians, which is awesome. No cars allowed!!
@@parodeejay That would be awesome, I don't know if I could still ride 11 miles though lol 🚵🥵
We actually have a cabin In severeville, Tennessee. Every time we go we hit little Tokyo. The food is beyond awesome always good. I highly recommend them.
That was an awesome spot! Crazy that we wanted Japanese food in the middle of Tennessee, but we'd had so much southern food at that point, ha ha... a refreshing change of pace!! :P
You all was a little out of season for bears best times to is late spring when they are out foraging
They were all napping on the day we were there!! :P
Trust me, you wouldn't want to live around bears on garbage day....Nothing like picking up the mess afterwards. 😂😂😉😉 I miss my bird feeders... Can't have any with bears around...😥
We haven't really had to deal with bears, but I bet it's... wait for it... un-bear-able... ohhhhh... :P #joooookes
@@parodeejay 😂😂😂😉😉😉
Yay! You got to see Cades Cove.
Fortunately, the road was only closed that one day... whew!! :D
What is wild is these people that built those cabins got there with little or no roads.
Ah, that's true! So many things you don't even think about... lack of roads, tools, technology... super cool to see!! :D
Cades Cove is one of my favorite places in the Smokies! It's so beautiful there.
We loved rolling around and seeing a little slice of history... how cool!! :D
Nice place. Reminds me of Little House on the Prairie!
Ah, we used to watch that show all the time. Too true!! :D
Wow! Nifty place! I haven't thought of BooBoo and pic-i-nic baskets in ages! Thank you for pronouncing it "crik" instead of "creeeek" 😂👍
Heck yeah... in Tennessee, it's a "crick" for sure!! :P
I caught a ghost on camera in that church!
Oh wow, that's cool! I didn't look too closely at all our Photos By Dee, but maybe I should!!
@@parodeejay Yes you should! I did not notice it until I blew up the frame on my laptop. I did not notice it on my camera.
1# fan is always first
was there a churches chicken on that drive? lol
So many chirches, and not a chicken to be had!! :P
I thought John Oliver was some British guy on TV, wonder why he has a cabin in the middle of Tennessee?
I think he lived there with Jon Stewart maybe... :P
My mother always said:
Only fools and monkey faces,
Write their names' in public places!
Love it!! :D
This video is UNBEARABLE or is that NONBEARABLE
We could bear-ly believe that we didn't see much in the way of wildlife... :P
