- We're in the mood for some award-winning fish footage, so we're heading to Ripley's Aquarium Of The Smokies in Gatlinburg! Join us as we fuel up at Flapjack's Pancake House before making friends with all sorts of fish, some of which we had never seen before... and what was our favorite part? They've got an underwater tunnel with a people mover... whoop whoop!! :D

We spent a week in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee exploring the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge area! We stayed at an AirBNB/VRBO rental cabin in Sevierville called "Lazy River" from September 26 to October 2, 2020 soaking in all those gorgeous autumn views!! :D

Tip for folks that have problems walking up hill in Gathering. Take the trolley from the aquarium up to the top of the strip and walk down. My wife walks with a cain and that works great for her. Or park at the top, walk down and trolley back to car.
We loved the aquarium. It was definitely worth the money and wait. We had to wait about an hour to get in this summer
