    What they ought to have is a sound proof room.

    Ironic how the screaming is damaging the mental health of the neighbors.

      Poor Karen. Her life of privilege has come to a ...screeching...halt.

    I had to deal with someone in my building that used primal screaming as a coping method, but it was terrifying to other residents and finally they had to kick her out of the building. Some people just think that sharing their misery is somehow an accepted social norm

      Hey, at least they are doing it outside. I believe the children are our future...

    I have a neighbor who has done that for years. The last thing the family needs are cops at the door. It's not too loud when it happens. I feel sorry for their situation.

    Primal Scream Therapy, again? Every day that goes by, it seems more and more like we're living through a replay of the 1970's.

    Now that the voice has been found and broke free, growth from there on with the discovery of discipline and ownership. So, Choir. Possibly drama school and theater , film

      The feeling of being dismissed as a youngster and wanting to be heard is hard to carry. Once they scream and force attention & validation upon humanity, then enstill manners and etiquette techniques. Yes, it is good, but that shouldn't be the whole solution. Healthy healing has layers. 🎉 I understand how screams can feel good, but anything in excessive will reach its limit. So figure it out in peace

    Wtf. Yes they have scream therapy. Hes with them and pushing them. Why is that in town?

    Scream therapy, is the same as primal scream. We are not animals. Why scream at the heavens with your fist clenched?? That's so disturbing. Fire the counselor and hire someone with better values and teaching capabilities.

      No, no it isn’t. Drug therapies work and have been proven to work for mental illness through rigorous trials. This is hooey bs perpetuated by the same faith healing pseudo scientific kooks who believe it’s better to grift patients out of their money with silly solutions like primal screaming which do nothing but intrude upon the peace and well-being of others.

    Zoning regulators have problems with allowing convenience stores near residential areas (because "capitalism bad" I guess), but a looney bin is OK?

    As unhinged as it seems this is a valid therapy. Maybe they could take them for a nice bus ride to the park for these activities.

      My question is what happens when these teens are adults and eventually released to live independently, is this a viable productive way of coping in the real world when you have close neighbors or will the police be getting called because their neighbors are concerned?

    • @spinflux
      @spinflux Před 9 dny

      What makes this form of “therapy” valid?
