You made wise choices. One suggestion; you have 6 plates hung in one corner. Take 3 and hang it in the door area you're looking for something to put. It will bring the eye across the room and make it look intentional instead of haphazard. The carpenter is amazing. Kudos to you for your hard work. Blessings!

I am most inspired and impressed by your ability to "bring to life" I mean this in the sense that you make impossibly phenomenal and delicately beautiful things out of very little and where many of us would not even have the foresight to think something of this caliber is possible. I think this is a testament of the essence of your soul and an unquestionable strength and resilience. I know this is true because the kitchen you have created is so unique, stated and full of character - this kind of depth and beauty can only come from within.
I am enamoured by your perception and ability to achieve balance and harmony in a space using materials, textures, design patterns, fixtures, colours etc. that are different but complement one another. This is a rare quality that few possess and it suggests a modality to live with tensions, with contradiction, with mix matches, with asymmetry but ultimately to maintain peace and cohesion through all the different elements. This is an allegory for life.
I love how you're always not afraid to change things when they don't turn out how you envisioned, I was always thought that we must accept whatever we create even if they does not live up to what we wanted. But you modeled a different approach for me and challenged a limiting belief that I had. Thank you for showing me the freedom of starting over, or tweaking, or improving, or adapting...

Your kitchen looks beautiful. The detail is immaculate. Yoh, I have so much to say only because my heart is beating custard .
1. Skirting for the hood was a master stroke.
2. I don't have an electric kettle and so wish for a pot filler.
3. You may want to consider pantry slide outs so you're not struggling for items at the back.
4. When we come for tea where do we sit? 😂 or if Ben is keeping you company in the kitchen. Are you considering chairs under the island?
5. Do you have an indoor bin?
My only critique would be the green sconces. Not so sure about the colour. I can appreciate wanting to break up the blues....but it was a bit jarring.
