David E Kelley became the first producer to win Emmy and Golden Globe Awards in both the Outstanding/Best Drama Series (The Practice) and Outstanding/Best Comedy Series (Ally McBeal) categories in the same year.

What did Calista Flockhart do before Ally McBeal and what did she do after Ally McBeal? I saw she had a supporting Role on Supergirl, but I don't know what else she did. I watched Ally McBeal a few times here and there.. It reminded me a little bit of Sex and the City with the Woman being sexually aggressive. Some other gimmicks like a UniSexual Bathroom. But I don't think it was a great Comedy show like All in the Family or MASH or even Seinfeld or /Curb Your Enthusiam. I thought it was basicallly a Silly show. But that is just my opinion.
@@HoldenNY22she adopted a boy shortly after the show ended and has therefore prioritized her personal life. She did however do another show in the late 00s called Brothers and Sisters in which she played Sally Field's daughter. However, that kid is now of age, going to college so shes doing more theater again and she is going to appear in the second season of Ryan Murphy's Feud

He should have quit while he was ahead. The shows suffered the next seasons because he needed to loosen up his control over them. He even plagiarized the same story line from one show to another within a single week.
Even on stage she’s still in character hahahahha love her!
Michelle Pfeiffer is SO gorgeous, every time I see her show up for a flash of a second in the crowd at one of these award shows, I have to stop a minute and catch my breath.

+Ash Same here. I tried to watch the second season, but it was just not the same without her there anymore. She is and the Danvers sister relationship is what really brought the show to life. Nobody can play Cat Grant like Calista does. She is irreplaceable. I miss her and her witty remarks so much. The show has lost its element without her.

The second season was the best season, the season they won for. The third season was when it started to go downhill. It picked up a bit when RDJ joined but the 5th season mostly sucked. I didn't bother watching to the end because I stopped caring.
@@klausweasley Forced myself to watch it again after getting the whole thing on DVD and it wasn't that bad the second time around after all these years, but definitely the weakest season by far.

@@klausweasley True. They had planned the 5th season differently but had to change the storyline. That was the beginning of the end. Just saw the last minutes of the very last season of Allys goodbye from the good old cast.

I remember when the cast of Ally McBeal won this award. Ally McBeal I think was in it's second or third season if I'm corrected right.
This was during the 3rd season. I worked on season 2-5. It was such a fun show to work on.
