      Peter lost his parents at young age, lost his wise uncle, lost his aunt, lost Gwen Stacy, lost his best friend Harry, lost his job, lost his mentor Tony, lost everyone who knew him.
      Naruto lost both of his parent, lost a grandfather (sandaime) figure, lost his teacher as well as his godfather who gave him the name, lost his senior brothers, lost his rival like brother (neiji), and now, he lost someone whose been stuck with him since he born and might as well call that creature a true best friend.

    Naruto started out as a lonely scared child, shunned by his own neighbours fearing the scary demon inside him. Gradually, he conquered all his fears, made friends with the demon too...and blossomed into this beautiful, selfless Hokage. Just last episode, we saw Naruto at full strength kicking ass in God Mode. Even in this one, we could see how mature he has become as he accepts his own death laughingly, so calm and collected.
    But then he realises that it is just Kurama who is dying, sacrificing for Naruto...the demon who would have once gladly killed Naruto without a single thought...the demon who is actually his single oldest companion in his tumultuous journey....the demon whom he finally changed..whom he loves and respects more than a brother now....is dying so that Naruto survives.
    After overcoming so much, Naruto had become whole again....and then suddenly, one of the first holes that he filled with love is burst open...emptying him again....and he is once again that lonely, scared child waiting, shivering in the rain outside Ichiraku Ramen....as he screams, claws and begs his first companion against this dark cold world, to not leave him.
    If someone came and cut off my arm right now, I guarantee you I may scream more, but it would hurt less...a lot less...than this episode.

    • @xethaz8088
      @xethaz8088 Před 2 lety

      @@assholable I think of it like this, with loss you lose a part of yourself emotionally and when losing an arm (in this situation) you lose a part of yourself physically. The pain you experience with loss is horrible in its own way. The hole created by loss eventually is filled as time passes while a severed arm is unrepairable. You will forever be missing an arm. Now if you think about it, the same could be said for loss because the loss of a loved one will leave you changed forever. The way you measure the severity of loss is by two things: How close your relationship was to said individual and how they’ve impacted you over time. Now I can’t be 100% certain, but I highly doubt that the loss of a fictional character (from an anime) hurt as much or even as close to as bad as getting an arm cut off. Now if you were talking about a mother or father or maybe a sibling, or someone you have a mutually relationship personally it would make a lot more sense of where you are coming from. You don’t go numb from getting your arm cut off, it is a living nightmare. The loss of a limb doesn’t just “go away” as you said. You feel it weeks and weeks after it has happened. Bottom line, after all of this there is no way in hell you actual believe that the death of Kurama was more painful then the loss of an arm.

      A. Both were iconic apex heroic legends of peace in their own worlds.
      B. They both lost their power which was essentially a piece of themselves (granted Kurama was a more devastating loss because he was alive)
      C. Now both legends, while alive, can’t do as much as they could, effectively forcefully retiring both of them.

      I mean, Naruto almost died alot of times exactly because of kurama, in that entire akatsuki thing, Naruto is obviously the most important character, but kurama isn't far, kurama was a great character, in OG naruto, kurama sucked, but in shippuden, i started to like kurama a lot, it is such a important character, i still like matatabi more than kurama, but still, that death was really sad.
