Hey bro thanks for the subscription, I did the same with urs as well!! Yeah I don’t take them far but I think when they are young is we they Lear the best jmo
Been there man, with the hawks. Had 10 attacks in my small back yard one day. I moved and now don't have nearly the same issues. You'll have a hawk saavy group.
Tim, when 1st starting to work with youngsters that have just been weened I work with one at a time on and to the landing board until they can do it blindfolded gradually moving further from the loft, once they are working well as individuals I then start working them 2 at a time then 3 at a time etc, this keeps your losses to a minimum if you have a hawk attack.
Thanks for the comment. You should try and find a club near you. There is nothing like having a good mentor in this sport. Can help with birds, health training etc
Looking good.. You should have used the protection of the "Danza Loft" batting/settling cage system. You might not have lost so many before you started loft flying them..
I did!! Didn’t see 1 hawk while in the batting cage. The day I took it down I lost 4 to hawks. I saw all 4 of them get caught by a hawk, believe they were coopers
I saw that. I know a couple falconers who think that is like putting a bulls eye on them that’s why I haven’t done it. Thanks though I love hearing about fanciers and what they do with their birds
@@Shocktraumalofts I lost about 50 last year from Cooper caused flyaways during settling. Only a few more after the squeakers knew the loft and then no verified hawk losses after they went on the road. Once you hit the road, no more loft flying, but that means being pretty strict with feed to keep them buoyant.

Very true bro. Might have to relocate some of those hawks!

Great video. Sorry the hawks are so bad for your birds. I love the intelligence of the 6. Especially that white 😊
Thanks Jeff. As they say it only takes 1!!
Hello. Are u in LA? We o u have your phone # on the bands? I think a blue bar with green band was found hurt last week. 🙏
The progress with each toss got better and faster awesome job and getting them to drop and trap was improved also 😎👌🏼🧬🎯
Yep that’s the plan!
Nice looking loft, Bro. I wish you well on the hawk problem. Not much you can do about it.
Thanks bro and thanks for the comment. Had one chase the birds today, me yelling through him off.

@@Shocktraumalofts ... Wow! That's crazy for sure.
In the uk the fanciers get a type of paint that obviously doesn’t harm the bird or the feathers and paint it in patches all over the pigeons.
I saw that. I know a couple falconers who think that is like putting a bulls eye on them that’s why I haven’t done it. Thanks though I love hearing about fanciers and what they do with their birds
Art would love that bird
Yes he would!!
بسم الله ماشاء الله ربنا يبارك ويزيد ❤❤❤
Wow that is so awesome. So the other pigeons got taken by a hawk? Oouuee I'm learning alot
Yeah they are terrible
That's usually Mom, dad and chic when you see them like that. They are teaching how to hunt.
That just might be it befits always more than 2-3 hawks chasing birds
The Cooper's are bad in many places. Losses tend to be high until you can get them 100% on the road and cut out the ambush attacks at the loft.
Yes sir, that’s what I see I’m going to have to do here at this house.

Do you race ?
Yes I do. I haven’t in 3 years because of the move form Baltimore to Portland. I will be racing this year young birds.
@@Shocktraumalofts cuz of your hawk problem I think you should breed at least 60 youngsters
Good pigans
😅
Thanks bro
Incredible that you lost that many birds to a hawk I get attacked at my loft every now and then also and yes, the Cooper’s Hawk is the worst😮
Yeah they have been on me bro
To me thous birds should not be tosst they are not wright
Thanks for the comment bro. Yeah horrible
