@@icarogois7116 the unlock spell is pretty shitty tbh it should unlock doors and other things directly and those shitty missions with puzzle after puzzle to solve and there are also a couple of other things but i’m not gonna list everything and cry about it, it is what it is
A few tips: if you fast travel and head back to the location of the puffskeins and they aren’t there just wait one cycle on the map and then fast travel and they will all respawn. Each time you go be sure to check the trees around the area with revelio because sometimes three puffskeins can spawn in them on top of the six or so that are already there which makes this much faster. On top of that whenever I have to wait to reset if it’s night I capture all puffskeins and then fast travel up to the moon Alf den and capture all those to save a little bit of time. Hope this helps! Edit: on top of this in the challenges menu it say the Merlin challenges only upgrade gear storage but I’m pretty sure it upgrades ur beast storage as well cause I can hold wayyyyyy more beasts now like twice as many after completing them.

To add to this. These little fuckers are curious. If you just slowly walk up to them and capture them at max range, they will quite literally stand still and NOT roll away. Just be chill and slowly capture them from max range and you’ll save a shit load of time.

CRITICAL TIP: Everytime you fast travel back to the forbidden forest flame, advance the day by using the wait button in the map so that the puffskein's respawn
Also in case anyone is curious to experiment, all beasts, shiny or not, for some dumb reason, sell for the same price. So this is the most efficient and profitable means of farming beasts (that I know of)
Why would I press the wait button if the puffskeins do respawn without the waiting?

You also need to pass charles rookwoods trial from the main storyline, not many articles mention this
Use glacio insted of arrestio it stunds them longer and makes capturing harder beast like unicorns or thestrals much easier

@@chelseamullins7000 glacio lasts longer on any creature than arresto does. with it you can stun a thestral mid flight and can capture him by the time it gets back on his feet
Finally something makes sense. Than,s for this without even knowing what a shiny was and that they were in the game makes this video easier to know what I'm looking for and how!

I really love the game but I think it’s lame that the other beasts sell for 120 as well. A unicorn or hippogryph too, which are much harder to find and catch. Also if they are rare/special they don’t sell for more?

I just reverse Poach and sell my captur-rescues for money. Hell I even keep and breed the shiny bests just because I can.
Found a spawn of mooncalf South of feldcroft that are always shiny. Every single one in the spawn is always shiny everytime I reset

not sure if they patched it on day 1 or it's a pc thing but this no longer respawns them. once you capture them all if you fast travel there's literally only one on the den. i'll have to keep rotating all the dens.. thankfully doesn't seem to be a need for more money besides buying all the recipes/seeds/enchantings
change to story mode, dont have to use any input command to catch puffskein
Idk if it was meant to be or not, bet every once in a while I get to reloot the eye chests, the ones that give 500, if you use revelio they still glow after looted too if this might work for others
I managed to get a shiny gold unicorn and bred it now i have a baby gold unicorn it's awesome

Do Shining Beast have faster drop rates with the ingredients they supply? Anything special other then rarity and apparence?

The first shiny beast I found was a shiny unicorn that I wasn’t even searching for but it was my second ever found unicorn and it was shiny

@@acoolcracker I think that's a pretty easy thing to patch out. Just change the respawn timer from "every fast travel/reload of area" to "respawn only twice an ingame game" or "respawn only every 10 min gametime". Shouldn't be big of a deal to fix that.... If they want to.
It's not a glitch or exploit he's just farming beasts. 120 is not all that crazy either.

How to increase nap sack inventory space. Only 20 atm.
I've noticed I no longer get XP for catching these beasts. I wonder if it's tied to the Challenge Achievement that I got that last done. Was going to farm for a bit and noticed no more XP. Unless it was a nerf or something. Wish Shiny had a better sale price, but it works. Farming via breeding works too once you are far enough along.
Ofc, it wouldn't make sense to get lvl 40 by farming hundreds of beasts.

I have every shiny beast but near a shiny unicorn and shiny female graphorn, but they are also really hard to find.

Whenever I try to add a niffler or a hippogriff it just says species full.
That is because there is not enough space in your vivarium :/ it’t pretty stupid there is such limited space in the vivariums

My first unicorn was a shiny male unicorn. I caught a few others that were normals. It felt like the shiny was harder and had more capture chances to get away. 🤷🏾

Here's the thing guys! This would technically not be a glitch because poaching is a part of the game. There's literally a legal way in the game to sell the beasts at brood and peck.
