This all just seems sooooooo complicated for a very easy game, I've never struggled with moon stone or gallions. And you should easily find all legendary gear by lvl 20ish, and btw you don't have to wipe out the bandit camps to loot the chest, disillusion and sneak right by.
So basicly there is no fast lvl up way. You have to do all challanges anyways to reach lvl 40. Okay, you do the combat challanges reall quick in the Arena's. Leaving you doing the rest of the challanges almost xpless. Those Merlin trials taking a lot of time all together to solve. Mixed with the revelio pages. And all other minor things It takes you quicly to 100hr playthrough in your first try. My tip. Yeah Hit the Arena. Solve them the way you want. But do not waste time in there. A lot of enemy's ocure while doing all those other trials.

Thank you! Came here to state this, cuz its a SINGLE PLAYER game. They put these things in there for a reason! To make the $ you need for things & well everyone plays games at different paces, so just play it & enjoy how you want. No glitches or exploits smh. Its there for a reason.
Is ‘story’ the default setting? I am currently trying to complete Jackdaws Rest and I ALWAYS get killed by the sentinels I am so close to just giving up on the game.
LOL story is the easiest mode and even on hard I find it too easy maybe you just aren't utilizing your spells to the full potential try getting acient magic buildup traits and using that as it does the most damage out of anything other than combos.

Play through the main quests, you'll get one when you've progressed enough, the actual quest that gives you a hippogriff is with Natsai Onai

Unfortunately it's a bug and your not going to 100% the game, now I'm on Xbox and it's bugged for me got them all still saying I need 34 and I have 33 and I've been hours in side and out, but what's new for Xbox seems like one big bug.
