how come the 8th km run came in at 3:36 on the splits? Holding roughly a 5:20 pace for the other KMs and then drop a 3:36? What’s happened there?

did they run less than 1k in the final split and therefore cheat and not hit sub-1:10? Generally your runs get gradually slower…. not 2-mins faster. Can anyone explain this? Not hating, just confused and curious. Still a great effort regardless

Fair play 👏🏽, Hyrox isn’t a walk in a park. I went for my first one in March solo, finished around 1hr 37mins. General tips would be to pace yourself and look into compromised running.
