Looks great! As a first timer, I would have installed the corner block last so glad I found your video!
Im glad it helped! Once I found those blocks it made crown molding so much easier!
What was the first piece of trim you used on the wall? What was the profile?
Hey Grant, sorry about the delayed response! The first piece I used was a 7/16 x 2-3/4 x 12' Unfinished Pine Ranch Base Moulding. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
How do you install them on concrete walls let me know thanks
Thats a tough one. Without knowing everything about the situation, I can't give a good suggestion. I would look into things specifically calling out concrete or masonry.
how did you install the crown blocks?
They are just tacked into the corners. Since the crown molding has that 45 degree angle, you can easily hide and the in a couple nails. I am planning on doing another video on this so be sure to Subscribe and I'll be making sure to detail this bit more!
No wood glue on any of the joints....
Due to using the blocks, wood glue would not be supporting anything. If you were copeing, you would be relying on the joint to hold the corner shape. Hence why no wood glue.
