Nice long trip we travel from kolhapur to Kerala by car .... From kolhapur to mangalore.... And then halt or stay for the night and next day from mangalore to kerala.. Frist we used to stay at manglore but when we started reaching early we went further and started waiting or halting at Kasargod 50km from manglore then you save more time and going to kerala you travel to all winding roads.. If you travel from banglore it will take more km by it is straight express way..... But via manglore by ankola, sirsi all winding roads with less traffic from dharwad turning. Just recently they started making four lane highway roads that means now even going to manglore there will be more toll booths coming...initially it was very difficult even for us no GPS we only rely on book maps and asking people directions how much things have changed but we got used to it so it became easy...in kerala routes are narrow and traffic is narrow and it takes long time with more fatigue...Good job 👍

CNG पंप च्या सर्च मी गुगल मॅप द्वारे करतो.
कोल्हापूर मध्ये नॅशनल हायवे वरती फक्त दोन CNG पंप आहे सध्या... जर तुम्हाला मुंबई ते बेंगलोर प्रवास करायचा असेल तर CNG car फार उत्तम आहे.. कारण मुंबई - पुणे - कोल्हापूर - बेलगाव - हुबली - चित्रदुर्ग - बेंगलोर या शहरांमध्ये तुम्हाला CNG भेटेल.. आणि CNG वर तुमचा मुंबई ते बेंगलोर चा १००० किलोमीटरचा प्रवास २००० रुपये पेक्षा कमी खर्चात होईल.

Does RT PCR report is mandatory for road trip?? And do we have to take any pass to go from pune to kerala
Register on covid19jagratha.kerala.nic.in/ no idea about RT-PCR. Just check the latest Guidelines.
But we came returned on 10th June from Kerala to Mumbai we have asked for RT-PCR report at Maharashtra border and we was not having any E-pass just wrote one application that we are travelling to Mumbai from Kerala.

What was advantage to take the Manglore route
Actually before lockdown i went through Banglore pallkad route and I will suggest the same route.. but in this route you have to cross Tamilnadu border also so to avoid this during lockdown I have gone with Mangalore route

Hi when did you travel? And did you need to take any e pass... What documents did they check at the border?
We travelled in 1st week of April.. that time no need of epass but we carried RT-PCR -ve report which was checking at Maharashtra-Karnataka border. But when we said we are going to Kerala then they allowed us to enter in Karnataka.

Hi Abhishek, which route will you recommend, for a trip to Kerala from Mumbai? Banglore route or this one?
Its depends on you if you Like to drive on straight highway with 4-6 lane road and ready to pay extra toll and ready to go for extra km.. then go from Bangalore which I found safe.
And if you want to go from short route and want to cover less km and leas toll and if u have patience in driving on 2 lane highway from Kerala.. then go from Mangalore route.
but time required from both route are same..

Approx 1000km on cng cost 2000rs.
Keep petrol only 8-9 liter when you are running on CNG.
It will reduce wait significantly and will help in getting better mileage.
