From Married With Children, Season 10 Episode 24, 'Kiss Of The Coffee Woman'. Marcy won't let Jefferson back in the house until he finds a job, while Kelly a part in a coffee commercial and when Kelly's co-star fails to perform, Jefferson takes a shot at the part. Jefferson's character wins him legions of female fans which upsets Marcy but also ensures that more commercials will be made. But how will Al react when the script asks for Kelly and Jefferson to kiss?

Bud is a evil genius. First he gets Kelly and Jefferson rich then gets himself rich telling people where they live.
Too bad Al and Marcy ruined it for all of them, due to their misunderstandings. They all go back to square one again of being broke. That was a recurring theme in the show, going back where they started. Broke and miserable.

It's interesting that in Jefferson's first appearance he threw himself on Kelly thinking she was Marcy (and it's possible to imagine Kelly having some interest at Jefferson at the time, too) but as the show kept going he became almost the lame, fun uncle of both Kelly and Bud and lost interest on her.
This episode is a prime example of that and it's pretty cool, it shows that Jefferson has limits lol

The writers stole that from Rodney Dangerfield, he used to use that line on Johnny Carson in 1970's, saying he was so ugly that his father showed people the picture that came with the wallet instead of his photo.

Al tries to prove how much he cares for Kelly, but Bud points out that it's the picture, that came with the wallet, so Al explains, that he could choose between a boy and a girl and he chose the girl, thus Kelly says, that the girl is Chinese, to which Al retorts with a hail Mary attempt saying this is how much he wished Kelly would be Chinese, which Kelly falls for.
Different motive, different punchlines. Not stolen.

Kelly has actually become a good actress by this point. If this was a real commercial (I'm talking back in the nineties, when commercials still had power), people would be talking about her and she'd become an even bigger sensation than Jefferson.

They tried with the spiritual sequel "Unhappily Ever After", but it wasn't the same. The jokes seemed forced, and there was a puppet character for some strange reason.

Since it's the millennium now, it could be called "Unmarried With Children!" with Bud & Kelly the main characters who co-own a shoe store with their zany broods. That title alone would guarantee ratings gold & might even bring common sense back to this PC dumpster fire of a country.
If you think about it, the rapid decline of this country began the same time as the ending of this comedy masterpiece! Rumor has it that's why illegals came here because "Married With Children" was banned in foreign countries & that's why they're so angry in America now.
Any spinoff, Marcy & Jefferson...Kelly & Bud, Peg's in-laws, anything connected...America wants...no...America needs
