Attorneys from both sides agreed to drop Harvey and Donna Adelson from the witness list as jury selection gets underway. Charlie Adelson is accused of orchestrating the murder of his former brother-in-law Dan Markel but the whole Adelson family is rumored to be involved.

The Adelson’s have done this before, they made their eldest son separate from his Indian girlfriend in favour of marrying a Jewish woman. The marriage ended quickly and he went back to his former girlfriend, married her and had kids with her. Wendi changed her children’s last name to Adelson and stopped them from seeing Dan’s parents, their grandparents. What a horrible family.

Hoping Wendi, Donna and Harvey are arrested next! This case is taking so long, must be so hard on the Markel family. Charlie and the whole family did it as the whole family was impacted by not being able to have the kids in their city. Evidence shows Donna was emailing Wendi and pushing her to do something about the divorce issues!
Donna didn't want to have to drive 8 hours to visit her daughter. Now she still has to drive 8 hour to visit her son.

Have followed this story from day Dan was murdered. Donna, the mother, was behind this. She and Charlie conspired on this murder.

Yes, Dan was probably smarter than her, but she wasn’t ignorant of what was going down. In the trial she claimed that she didn’t even read over her brothers case 😂 like, really? I’m sure she read it over hundreds of times. I don’t believe most of what she says. But I believe what her ex said about her letting things slip randomly. Prosecution will probably be able to get her and Donna if they press into her a bit more

Dan was killed because he stood up making the insecure ex wife and mother in law feeling invisible. Wendy needed to be the only star in the eyes of her kids, sharing that light with Dan Markel was not a chance. This case is all about envy of those with huge ego's. I've been in a few relationships where the partners was so competitive that she hated any win i achieved.. big red flag..all three partners had overbearing relationships with their interfering mother. thats what brought me to this case, the spoilt child and interfering mother similarities... that dynamic is not as uncommon as people think.

It makes total sense that Donna was involved. She was FURIOUS Danny filed a motion to force Donna to be supervised with her grandchildren.
Wendi manipulated everyone around her. She wailed about how unfair her life was in Tallahassee and MommaBear Donna wanted to “fix it.” But when Dammy had the audacity to threaten Donna’s access to her grandchildren, Charlie was manipulated to get a hit man, because after all, he said he had friends on both sides of the tracks. 🙄

Donna was committing parental alienation on those kids. She was telling the kids that their Dad was evil, etc. That's why Dan filed to get the supervised visitation. Donna was an insane nightmare. This is all because idiot Wendy was angry that Dan wouldn't read her stupid novel. This is the great 'abuse' Wendy supposedly suffered at the hands of Dan.
Charlie or anyone else won't kill Dan without Wendi's consent to do so, so definately Wendi is mastermind behind this murder. Also, Dan's mom is DEFINATELY a HUGE influence in this murder and needs to be charged

At least the attorney has some other viable suspects (his mom and dad) that he can use to muddy the waters. We've seen juries be persuaded in other cases where there is more than one possible suspect to find reasonable doubt (even when it seems unreasonable to everyone else). Charlie doesn't have to come right out and say it was mom or dad; the attorney just needs to admit enough evidence that they also had a relationship Katie and had the opportunity to set up the plot without him. If the attorney is skilled, he may convince the jury that they can't be certain which family member did it, thereby giving them "reasonable" doubt on Charlie.

I’m not surprised. Parents are “unsuitable” witnesses against their children. Also, they might not have been called to not give them any immunities, so they can be indicted themselves as well. I hope they will be charged, and so should Wendi.

New to this but I have to say they need to follow the money. Did the ex-wife know Katherine? Did she have the money to pay the hit or did her parents chip in to pay? Just seems odd in a close family that they say they are, that everyone doesn’t know something. But again as we see in these rich crime families, narcissistic behaviors are generational and narcissistic parents breed narcissistic children. And in the end, they have caused irreparable damage and pain to those children.
