I have never understood why these games dont get the credit they deserve they certainly were not perfect but they were extremely ambitious and not afraid to fail
Every now and then, youtube's recommendations hit a home run, great video sir! I'm gonna go play some fable, can't wait to see what you talk about next 😊
Ive always felt a good/evil system in fable would do great in a star wars game. Make it hard like fallen order/survivor. Passive force powers are buffed playing as a more peaceful Jedi. aggressive force powers are buffed playing as a dark Jedi. Sure you can use both but there is a difference in how strong they are depending on alignment. Dialogue and story choices has an impact on alignment but also include a dark side system in the combat. Something like Elden ring is hard as hell, if there is a massive power boost you could take out the gate, I think most would. Thats the dark side system. As you take more damage, get closer to 0 health, a bar is filled to tap in to the dark side. It massively buffs your character/force powers. But this sends you further down the dark side each time its done. I feel like this opens up alot of RPG play styles. Want to be someone like Windu, tap into the dark side for fighting, but story/dialogue you are a good person? Want to be like obi wan and only use light side powers and learning the combat mechanics to have masters over the light saber and not need dark side buffs. Want to be evil as hell and always have a buff on. Go for it. Thats the point of an RPG. I feel like we have yet to get a good star wars rpg that feeds off a good/evil system and something like the fable system could feed into that really well.
I think the game could've benefitted from highlighting how / why your character changed. I only noticed the good vs evil changes, and it was cool, but TBH, I also felt like I was now obliged to be good or evil for the rest of the game. If I had noticed the other changes I would have felt a better connection to the character.
@MijinLaw That's a good point. I didn't notice all of these things when I first played. Mostly alignment, weight, and attractiveness. I didn't really know why my character was aging or changing physique, and it probably would have been cool to know that on my first playthrough.
That's a good question. When we get more news on the Fable 4 release, I might replay Fable 2 and 3, and make a video about what I hope to see come back and what I don't want to see come back

I agree with all of this, and star wars is a perfect candidate to adopt this stuff.
nice video boss I going to play fable now
Great video man
Damn looking at Fable I just realised how ahead of the times that game was and it was just an absolute blast to play.
No kidding! I had a lot of fun playing to make this video

OMG, that is funny. I never realized how many black hero's use lightning. So True.
I challenge you to do a video on Fear and Hunger 1 and 2 lol. By far my favorite RPG Maker games.
Thanks for the suggestion! I just now bought it, and I'll check it out!
Incredibly based, now, Fable 2 when?👀
