I don't need to tell you what Edgerunners is. The Smash-hit Anime by Trigger, that revived Cyberpunk and saved CDPR's skin. Everyone in every multiverse has made a video talking about how successful its been, but what nobody seems interested in is explaining why it's so successful. Being animated by TRIGGER helps but lets remember that this is the same studio that made Supernatural Battles and perhaps the most mid comedy of all time Inferno Cop.*jokes on you I'm irioncally sh*t* . Because what the world needed was a worse Aqua Team Hunger Force - Zábava

it's sad that when people make these videos and talk about the few good video game adaptations there are, they always seem to forget about castle Vania as an example of that. I mean, that one was came out before both Arcane and edgerunners and nobody seems to remember that it's there and it's freaking good.

2:09 the changing of the animation styles was a thing for franchise tie-in anime around the mid-to-late 00s, in that they were a collage of different animations in either a collection of stories or a string of chapters. The Animatrix, Dante's Inferno, that Dead Space animation, Batman: Gotham Knight are the ones I can name from memory. That last one is in the Nolanverse.

I am honestly surprised by the fact that The Witcher did not get the same treatment considering it is also a CDPR game and a Netflix show. Anyways, good vid.
I think the live action stuff is very difficult to make work. I know a decent amount about the process with animation but live action is a whole different world for production. That show did a lot to butcher the source material though so I don't know. It's rough
The witcher games are based on the books. CDPR had nothing to do with the creation of the TV series, as the rights to create it were bought from the author of the books.

God I'm so tired of hearing about Stein Gate and that fucking "enemy" song by imagine dragons. Seriously, that band was played out a decade ago. It's like spamming Skrillex in 2022
