    This is 100 percent working!!!!! I did it for a month, and my gosh, my tummy looks like I have lost 4 kg of my belly, while I stayed the same weight on the scale.. I am a 45 years of mum of 3 kids, and my belly muscles were stretched out a lot-started training my transverse abdominal muscles and eat clean, means clean no junk to add icing on the cake, never thought would do anything to me. I started doing it to fix my lower back pain, and it helped that too ❌❌♥️♥️♥️✅✅✅✅good vid 👍up

    I want to start working out but I need to know exercises that won't hurt the Achilles tendonitis on my right . I've been to the podiatrist and alot of those stretch moves I was told and shown to help inflames it even more. I'm at a lost.

    • @laurasofiaruedafernandez4635
      @laurasofiaruedafernandez4635 Před 5 lety

      Well this depends on what your goals are specifically and also what kind of achilles tendinitis you have/how you acquired it. I'm guessing though by you saying you want to start working out then it's likely not a chronic overexertion injury but that still leaves the possibility of having started already and having gone too hard too fast. I think the important thing to keep in mind is to be patient with your body and understand that depending on where you're starting from you should be priming your body correctly. Considering your medical condition, I would recommend you starting with low impact cardio (swimming, biking, elliptical) or maybe looking into upper body reliant cardio simultaneous with GRADUAL and GENTLE daily calf stretching for 2-3 minutes per day. Then gradually transition into incorporating the eccentric strengthening exercises, preferably with at least the intial guidance of a PT. In this time, athletically you can be working on strengthening your core through planks and slowly getting a feel for the proper form, figuring out your meal patterns and diet if you don't have that down yet, etc. There's also a ton you can do for your core and upper in this time. For lower then look for exercises that don't ask a lot from your calves (squats, hip thrusts) then be patient when you start to gaining more flexibility in your achilles tendon and the inflamation goes down to do touch and go incorporation of those exercises that do demand calves involvement. Fitness is largely mental, building up the habit and the discipline to work out, not giving up because you feel like all you're capable of right now seems wimpy, learning to love a light level of regular soreness, etc. You have to understand that while you're working towards building up your body and not just maintaining it, the level of challenge should remain consistent. You should consistently be increasing the weights you're using and challenging yourself so that if you go above the 8-12 reps, you're fatiguing yourself and starting to lose form but that rep goal is met and sustained with proper form. And if your goal is weight loss, 80-90% of that is made in the kitchen.

    • @laurasofiaruedafernandez4635
      @laurasofiaruedafernandez4635 Před 5 lety

      Also, that 8-12 reps is subjective to your goals.

  • @lavieenrose7925
    @lavieenrose7925 Před 5 lety

    High repetition is the most effective way to build muscle and lose weight without creating excess skin if you’re real heavy and losing weight. David Goggins lost 106lbs in 3 months doing, literally, 100-200-300-400+ reps of a single exercise over a few sets, so like a very light weight for 100 reps at a time

  • @ridapaul

    Abs are actually slow twitch muscles which do train at high reps. Isn't that right.

      Creatine, vitamin D (aswell as other vitamins, D being important), water, protein and obviously carbs/fat in whichever way they fit into your daily calorie intake. That's the most important stuff right there. I supplement iron bisglycinate every 2 days, but that's just me.

  • @GeekedOutNeckbeard

    Does training for more than 1 hour suddenly mean you're overtraining? I get told various things about working out, and you already disproved 80%~ of it with this video alone. People say only lift weights for 45 minutes and go home. But I tend to go for 1 hour and 30 minutes, sometimes 2.
    Everyone has their own... Stance? I guess? On this, but I have seen people go for hours and hours at the gym. So I am wondering what truly is the most effective method..

    • @ki-td5yb
      @ki-td5yb Před 5 lety

      Under recovered.

    • @TheRizzGaming
      @TheRizzGaming Před 5 lety

      I know this is 4 months old, but what people say is "overtraining" isn't actually over training. Most who say this, are the ones that are uneducated. You can go to the gym for 2 hours a day. Overtraining has to do with intensity. Also, people get Overtraining confused with Under Recovery. Are you going to the gym 2 hours a day, 7 days a week with all out intensity? Then I'd say you could be. But a good hard workout 3 days a week for 2 hours a session, that's fine. Could be even considered under training depending on your particular makeup of your genes.

    • @dave93x
      @dave93x Před 2 lety

      I resistance train for 90 minutes-2 hours a day and then do 30 mins-1hr cardio afterwards. I do that 6 days a week and sometimes I'll take a day off completely or skip the cardio or a leg day once a week (legs get hit everyday on the exercise bike). I'm 29, so I would argue that I should be doing it as much as I can, because I can, but I still need an extra day off every other week.
      If your body gets used to it and you have energy then you're not doing anything wrong. Eat good, exercise smartly and track.

  • @devdhruv9944
    @devdhruv9944 Před 6 lety +3

    Since low reps (3-5) are in the strength range, they trigger myofibril hypertrophy, while 10 - 12 reps trigger sarcoplasmic hypertrophy. Will someone who trains 3 - 5 reps have muscle that looks different in comparison to someone who trains 10 - 12 reps due to the different form of hypertrophy taking place?

    • @dallasmurphy3035
      @dallasmurphy3035 Před 6 lety +3

      The guys have speculated on this! Forget what episode it was... People tend to notice (again, all speculation) that power lifters (lower rep range) will appear to have muscles that appear grainy and dense, kind of like a marble statue. Ben Pollack, who has appeared on videos on this channel, is a good example of this "look". Compared to the 10-12 rep range, people notice here (such as with body building as they generally stay in this range) muscles may appear fuller, rounder, more separated etc. Just anecdote and should be taken with a grain of salt, but fascinating nonetheless!

  • @nikkimctouton6706

    are you saying that you can spot reduce fat on your stomach or are you just saying that certain exercises will help develop the core muscles, cause trust me when I tell you that I have lost 25kg and it still has yet to get a flat belly. I need to lower my body fat before I can even begin to have a flatter tummy. After a very hard 5 years of IVF medications and 6 loses and then going on to have a baby abd a c-section, my body is trashed.

    Well the vacuum doesn’t always work I’m proof. just above the bellbutton it’s great creates the line but around and below if I let the muscles go I look fat. If I flatten it looks good. I’m 50 5’7 workout hard everyday heavy 3 days kettle and balls slam HIIT 2-3 days long walks. Chin-ups and push-ups all the time hanging leg raises. Training splits. Can’t get rid of that bottom part of the stomach where the organ protrude. Any takers on how to solve. I’m really just figuring that’s it it staying at this point. Oh and clean diet IF 3 days a weeks good quality protein fats and hardly any carbs not much through the week
