This is so common in Vegas and elsewhere in the mainland here. People will go as low as using dead relatives of kids or other people deceased and ask for donation for funerals. People will do anything for money. Be smart. Even if this was real that is worth 10k, did you know it could be stolen and if you pawn it. Provided your ID. Once it's tracked. You are responsible to deal with a world of headaches with the law. Good luck with telling them you met Casper who gave you that chain cause the person dissapeared already with your money.

sometimes they claim its five-finger-discount from jewelry shops, they'll take a knife to carve it to prove real and everything..

This happened to me the second time the same guys at kapolei walmart parking lot saying they from dubai n needed money to back home to dubai n tried to sell me a gold ring lol but of course i said no n i dont even buy expensive jewelrys from the jewelry store even if i was making money working 40 plus hrs a week cause its a waste money n the jewelry not gonna make you money n i got a wife n daughter to support, paying the bills, a roof over our head and necessitys, n been living in oahu 20+ yrs already its an expensive paradise living here

Not qoinq lie there was a indian kinda man on the freeway tht waved me dwn cause he needed qas. So itold him iqoinq take him qas station but he said no iqive you this qold rinq for 60bucks . Itold him nah if you no like qas then close my door.

What kind of morons fall for these scams? I don’t give money away to strangers. They could be asking for a dollar to catch the bus, but all they want is you to get out your wallet so they can steal it.
