This could be fantastic, instead we had a Super boring le Mans and Wec season. Thanks a lot Aco, please remove that stupid rule which imposes the number of laps between a pit stop and the next one, thus preventing teams from playing strategy and making boring races. Look at Gte Pro. We need also an Eot that allow Rebellion and Smp to fight against Toyota. Nobody want a 2 car championship

It is not as good as previous ones, but Le Mans is never boring man, NEVER. You must look it at every aspect and from different perspectives. Each Le Mans has its own uniqueness. But yeah, have to agreed the rule is over-abused

why should the ACO make massive regulation changes to make the significantly slower upgraded p2 cars to race againts the held back toyota's. they should be grateful the aco gave them enough of a handicap to be close. if you had a build toyota build a non hybrid to the same regs as rebellion and smp the gap would be even bigger. you want close racing based on bop, watch imsa.

Ghetto EMG fia didn't put a valid enough bop for them. Thus they severely low performance. Fia was scared that they would be too powerful so they made sure they started at low performance guaranteed to lose. They will eventually higher their bop over races to be more competitive

The retired their racing programmes, sadly. Check back in 2020 when the new regs come into effect (ferrari and mclaren may be coming)

Audi hasn't started since 2016 I believe. Not sure why - but I guess they just felt that they cannot get better than they were when they left (the Record Lap is still held by Audi).
Porsche abandoned Le Mans after 3 consecutive wins and decided to focuse its engineering resources to Formel E, where they will first start in 2019

The 919 EVO is just a prototype which shows what would be possible if there were no regulations. It will never compete in a race.
Audi and Porsche will not join LMP anymore for a long time, they both abandoned their programmes (expect of course Porsche GTE cars).
Would be nice to see McLaren, Ferrari, maybe Aston or VW compete with hybrid cars against Toyota. Otherwise LMP1 will get reaaaaaally boring soon.
