Hi Donna. This is the original. Blue Magic and The Main Ingredient went on to have greater success, but Mr Dyson's is the original recording.

Yes the Main Ingredient did it best as well as Freddie Mcgregor with the reggae version his is pretty good as well. Ronny’s very makes me say. He made some sad songs.

Wow... always thought all these decades, that MAIN INGREDIENT'S version was the original, and only version of this gem. First time hearing this.
Philadelphia had really good studio musicians. This arrangement is tight and performed very well.

What I have loved to meet him! He seem like a nice young man, and I love the fact that he had to travel with his mother because he was young but as he got older you know he traveled by herself but such a wonderful Talent very strong voice I would have loved to just have 10 minutes of his knowledge being so young and talented.
