    Excellent! Five Star Review! Great explanation of tires available. Wish you where around back in 2016. I will miss my 2016 C7 Z06/Z07 3LZ. The Best Corvettes ever.

      Thank you so much for the kind words. Are you selling your Z06? Thanks for watching!

    That negative camber is great but is a high price to pay for our casual nice weather daily driver. The steel wire poking through the inner tread face hurts. Then to see all that juicy thick tread on the outer face, it breaks my heart. I'm 72 and drive like the old man I am, I consider myself fortunate to get 8K on the fronts and 9K on the rear -- I keep the traction control on and drive in 'sport' mode.

      I think we drive quite similar!! 72 and still driving your corvette! Love that so much - stay young and thanks for commenting George! It means a lot!

    My car has the Michelin All Season and the car has has the camber flattened for street use (set like stingray). Eliminates the accelerated wear on inside of tire.

      Might have to check with my guy and see what my camber is! Thanks for commenting your experience!

    I moved from the Michelin summer tires to the Continental Extreme contact and they look better and hooked better to me. They hooked BETTER than my sport cup 2's did. Now most people may say there is no way but the sport cup twos are very hard to warm up so for daily driving and random races they hook like garbage on an unprepped surface. On a track they'll kill the extreme contact. What I want to try is the toyo proxes or Hoosier slicks. I have a 2017 grand sport with almost 800 engine hp.

    Enjoyed the vid. I have a C6 Z with a Lingenfelter build. Bought it in August and it has Nitto NT05 drag radials which aren't made anymore. I just ordered Toyo R888R tires today because they were recommended. Your vid was complimentary of them. Hope I made the right choice.

      Lingenfelter build!! Very nice! You will love the Toyo R888R tires. It's a great recommendation because so many guys in the corvette community with higher powered cars are using them. Might take a few mins for them to warm up, but after that they should hook no problem. What color is your C6Z?

      Victory red with a 2 tone(red black) interior. I bought some black satin C7 Z style wheels to go with the new tires. Just can't live with chrome wheels. @@kobyspurgin

    I still have the pilot run flats that where standard equipment on the car they have been replaced once the car only has 23k miles on it im not real happy with them I live in northern Michigan the car is in storage around 6 months a year I've had a couple of scary incidents with those tires once in the rain and once on dry roads I'm thinking about the all seasons thanks for your insights

    • @kobyspurgin
      @kobyspurgin  Před 4 měsíci

      If you got 23k miles on one set of tires then that’s phenomenal!!! The all seasons are phenomenal in the rain. I recommend them if you’re worried about being caught in the rain. I get 13k-15k miles out of a set of All Season 4s. They might be on AS5s now..

    R888r overall max handling ? Braking , no rain and grip toyo rr tires .

      Is that question or a statement lol?

    • @speedlife301

      @@kobyspurgin statement. I’ve used every tire. Cup 2 suck for anything other than handling. They can’t put down big power 750-800whp the toyo rr does everything well but rain and or can put down snd hook 1000whp from a roll. Mickeys put down the power just like nittio nto5 but both suck if your caught in rain and the sidewalks are to soft and not good for high speed cornering only straight line grip . For time attack Hoosier r7 my be the best .

      @@speedlife301All season 4s are the only tire I trust in the rain. Every other tire feels like a huge risk. Most guys never even have these on the road when it rains.

    M&H Racemasters over everything IMO. Last longer than MT's and hook way better than R888R.
