That is realistically what alzheimers is like. My husband's grams actuality threw shit at him. Not once, multiple multiple times. But, she absolutely loved me and I only knew her for 2 years before she passed away. She would go on a shit throwing spree while I was at work and be all sweet smiles as soon as I walked in the house.

Your original description of the vessel reminded me of when I worked on a psychogeriatric unit in the late 90’s. Some of the patients were pinchers, some were punchers. Some screamers and some spitters. They could seem so normal and cute, and then turn on a dime. I was punched in the face multiple times, no warning. Some of them ended up there when they had a fall and the paramedics had to come. When they saw the hoarding situation the person could not go back home. I saw some of the pictures 👀🫣

witchful thinking not only has a pretty cover and spine, but it's story was also pretty good. couple was cute as heck. bear from et tu, brody? liked it and i'm geeking to read it. the vessel sounds a lot like the spanish horror movie i saw recently called the influence, it was creepy as heck but recommend it. also, no judgement. never judgement when it comes to buying books. actually, i support you. i love that for you.
the story of WOOM makes me think of a tv series called Room 104... very interesting. And the story about Vessel reminds me of The Taking of Deborah Logan
Head's up - I am like 90% sure that the series that starts with A Time of Dread follows up after the Malice series (so please don't start with it is all). I've read the first three books of the Malice series and really enjoyed them, but have put off reading the fourth book for like a year |D
I fully get it. John Gwynne is a great storyteller and I have enjoyed everything I have read by him. And I loved your laughter during the time you were trying to justify why you bought two more of his books. Because I wanted to suffices for me.

I worked as a CNA at a nursing home. There was this one resident who was so mean and everyone was scared of her (her back story was sad and understandable why she was so angry). But a way to get her to calm down was to talk about her great grandchildren. She also loved kids. Many of the residents loved children. That's just something im used to. Im interested in hearing how The Vessel ends.
I loved Woom, haha. It is SO bat shit crazy and over the top that it's ridiculously fun. I liked the full circle moment at the end and the metaphors and wordplay. EVERY trigger warning you can think of, yes...but I enjoyed it. Gave it 4 stars.

I hope’Love In the Time of Serial Killers’ wasn’t in the horror section! It was a good book but was purely romance with a MC that studies serial killers and has an over-active imagination. I enjoyed the book very much.

I survived a really messed up childhood. As an adult I spent all of my 20s & 30s now in deep drama recovery. In my 20s my health also started to fail- systemic Lupus, Crohn’s disease & many others. I am now 39, single, lost my job due to my health, & my health is failing. Oh & i live in the US where u have to be bajillionaire to go to the doctor or see a therapist/counselor. Both my bio parents have been life long addicts & they have severe brain death & damage from addiction. Even tho they were & r my abusers I am having take care for them as an adult just as I did as a kid. Which has been so incredibly difficult as we do not have the needed resources & programs in the state so it falls to me again. Now my story is much longer than that but when I found your channel I was drowning! You looking into the camera saying “your beautiful, your valuable, worthy of love & being taken care of.” Was what I needed to hear & something I haven’t heard in a VERY long time! You r also so funny! These little vids u do MATTER! Keep being u! Also Thank u for uplifting POC & minorities on this channel! On a lighter note we don’t have a used book store here & listen to this my cart at Barnes and noble has 49 books saved & my Amazon’s 68 saved 😂😂. Ohh to have money! My crack is books & art supplies but U need money for that 😂. Take care girl & keep doing u! 💗
