With the angle and physics of the shot I believe the kick shot where Dennis was hooked behind the nine ball and kicked the two rails actually hitting the third rail contacting the ball from behind I’ll think if you slow it down you’ll see that it was actually a good shot where the cube ball hits behind the ball and then bounces back and then hits the rail
That's interesting. I slowed it down and couldn't quite see that from the frame-rate and the nature of CZcams videos. But considering the hit and the spacing of the balls, it's very likely to hit the rail after the one. Super tight shot though. Good catch on that.

I also think this format suits Dennis, but I don't think its mainly about the break of Shane. Its more about the rythm of the american. He thrives in winner break formats, he can get comfortable with more table time and became almost unbeatable. But when he gets in a format that has no rythm, he has problems, like in the Mosconi. So its a mental hendicap for him, I think. Dennis is also a rythm player, but he doesnt depend on it as much as Shane.

As you can clearly see Shane is not allowed to shoot any ball after the break and run the table. He is playing safe every time after the break when he makes a ball. So please no more bad comments about his performance

So, you had to make special rules to take SVB's attributes so Orcollo could compete at SVB's level?
That’s not their intention Larry. They’ve been having matches with this rule for quite a while now. I think it started out as an experiment and maybe, they liked a thinking aspect added to the game.
If you research all of their matches, Dennis is ahead on a head-to-head battle vs. SVB playing on the normal format. That proves they are well-matched on a regular format. This format just exposed SVB's defensive/safety game in my opinion.
Larry, Dennis is above Shane's caliber. Dennis will play a "name your amount" cash game because of the financier's that will back him up everytime while Shane don't. Dennis is the money game king and almost all pro pool players know that. Ask Shane about this.

Wasn't the kick shot at 1:40:05 ball in hand because after contact no rail was hit?
I played it back at 0.25 speed and it looks like after contact, cue ball taps the rail again. Could be wrong.

These two always have entertaining matches, often going hill hill. The only thing the "no run-out" format did was make it boring to watch. I wanted to like it, I just can't.

Amazing what happens when you take the run out completely out of the game.
The break is such an important part of the game which so many players lack. By removing the possibility of a run out you are only giving the one with a lesser break a spot. These two have played a couple of long race matches that were winner break and they both came out to be hill-hill matches, much more enjoyable to watch. These two are two of the best to play the game. Let them play. They may enjoy the format but it is NOT a spectator format. Not a fan of this format, boring.
@@dallasfurman8901 as a fan of one pocket, I find this format interesting. With a special rule added, a beast like Chang Jun Lin got beaten by a no name player 63-39. Aren’t safety and push out important part of the game too?
@@samuelpenalosa3034 I am not a big fan of one pocket, its usually just too slow for me. I understand the game but don't enjoy playing or watching it. One pocket is a defensive game and in my opinion rotation games are offensive games and turning an offensive game into a defensive game from the start is not interesting to watch, at least for me. Safeties have their place but I do not believe that that place is to start a game. The break is such an important part of the game, in any discipline, Dennis and Shane are two of the best rotation players in the world and I am a fan of both and don't really care which one wins.

It is a shame Sharks Management decided to go to a gambling App and it USA subs are now blocked from live streams. Off to other Channels for now on. Commentators where Great and will be missed.

@@billiardnetwork Well seems Sharks changed and people in USA can not watch their live streams anymore on You Tube or Face Book so guess Sharks just lost a big part of their people who watched and were in their chat. They want us to get a VPN and go around the law. There too much Free Pool out there for anyone to want and do that.
I hope this isn't true! I am Emsnews, Elaine Supkis there and one of their top commentators in the US East Coast. I had a lot of fun calling shots and discussing the techniques of the game with the hosts and also chatted about fun stuff, too. Now, this will vanish forever, I guess? I hope not.

I would have rather seen them play normal rules. But I'm just some pleb on the internet.
I don't blame Shane for his poor performance in the safety department. It could be that Shane's body is still adjusting to the different time zone that the Philippines has compared to where he came from that is America. Or he may still be experiencing jet lag while this game was on going.
Except Shane has never been all that great at safeties. It's the one area of his game he could really stand to improve.
A advice to sharks,,why you dont make a effort and bring race to 50 the magician and earl strickland,i 100% gonna be a geat match for everybody including sharks,,think about it
