Thanks for watching! - Zábava
My absolute favourite part of this is how tidy the site was kept throughout the job
Sooo true.. Sooo tidy
clean jobsite is free advertisement
@TJFF ITs I wish you could tell my father that. 😂
Shows the level of professionalism
Great observation. A simple shovel run help reduces fatigue and accidents risks
I know nothing about building, but this was an enjoyable watch, definitely
This extension is worth more than the house.
Well its part of the house and adds on to the value of it
@@kwasidavis1497 you dont know how jokes work huh?
@@nikita983 ok
Anyone know the cost of this
@@emmanuelshaspppamoah7323 my guess is 40-50k fully completed
Well, I work in construction and I do a lot of brick façades, I must say that the work with the brick was in my opinion, brilliant, clean, and the owner of the house should not say anything else except: Thank you. Congratulations, that was a motivation for my next job. Keep going.
That is by far the neatest brick laying I have ever seen - good skills.
I’ve got to say Stu the presentation of this video all the work you’ve done is absolutely mind blowing brilliant👌💪👏
Great job, a man that takes pride in his work, very rare these days.
Really enjoyed watching this build. Must be great to have the skill to do this. Probably the only brickie channel you need shazam ready when watching
well there are other copy cat channels now that you will need shazam on too
@@Stucrompton1 hi there I'm looking for a single storey extension how do I het in touch with you ?
For the owner of this house is it just an extension.
For me, it is the whole house.
the care, the technique, the dedication ... incredible!
you just won a follower from Brazil
After watching countless video of 2x4 + plywood + foam + drywall, there is something refreshing about laying bricks.
A lot of care going into each brick ...was it your sisters house ...if so she must be delighted top job m8
Most of the comments on these renovations are people complaining about 'how they could do it better' or 'you should've done this blah blah..' It's so nice to see people actually appreciate something in this comment section for once.
oooh crane access, that was jammy. Beats bringing it all on a barrow down a narrow side passage or through the house.
Straightforward job done perfectly. Great production value in the video Stu. Top class
Very professional from start to finish and what a great result. The extension looks amazing.
Excellent Stuart.i trained as a bricklayer 24 years ago fresh out school.got my level 1-3 city and guilds.self employed on conservatories with my window fitter mate.weather turned bad and got myself a regular job on the council and done hardly anything build wise for 20 odd years.i recently got some work with a builder friend on my days off.i work 4 on 4 off.my how things have changed.cavity closers where I was trained to build in the reveals and stuff.now flat plastic with a bit of insulation in nailed to close the gap.must say I’m really enjoying it though.your videos are great mate.👍🏻
This is def your best ever video Stu , breaking new ground here !
Few things most builders don't do that I see.. rebar in the footings and slab and chase the insulation into the existing cavity. Good job.
Well done. That looks amazing. Really enjoyed watching.
Really enjoyed this compilation, gives you a good view from start to finish!
It was a pleasure watching you work guys.
Waaaww, great stuff Stu and Lee. If I was ever to build a house you 2 would be the men for the job 🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙🤙
Stuuuuu this is too badass!!! Cracking vid from start to finish!!! 🔥🔥🔥
I’m a subscriber after watching this. Nice job
As always at the highest level masonry. At the end of the work, I did not notice any errors or there would be something to complain about)) Excellent !!!
what a excellent attitude these workers have,
Most impressive! It speaks of your humility that you also included footage showing your helper in order to give him credit, too! Lu, Stu! Gbu! I‘d be super curious about how they adapt the rest of the house room and furniture wise to the modern style of the extension.
So satisfying to watch. Beautiful work
This looks amazing mate! Good job!
Looks bloody amazing Stu. Nice job and good to see KC again! ☺️👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👍🏴
Outstanding work. Great to see someone take such pride. This is what customers expect, not the ‘leave it for the next guy’ mentality.
Brilliant.
The end product is fantastic first class workmanship all the way through the project. 35c in Perth today cheers Stu
now those are some serious skills, awesome stuff, loved it
Love the final touch of the bricks and blocks for the rsgs
I just wanted to learn how to render a garden wall 😳 WoW.
Couldn't take my eyes off every video from start to finish, professionalism personified, clean site, clean brickwork, clean everything !
A credit to the trade. Thanks for making these videos mate, I could watch them all again and again. 👍🏼👍🏼
lol am i the only one that finds these types of videos relaxing
more relaxing videos on asmr bricklaying channel :)
@@Stucrompton1 nice. but also for those of us that live in straw huts could you add some commentary to the videos so we know why youre doing what youre doing.
Well, you should have written in how long time that took them to build that almost perfect house-extension and how much it costs.
Incredible work. This idea is perfect for an outside home office building. Well done, buddy.
Wow! I've been so worried about planning my extension because of all the cowboy builders you hear about but your work looks so great! Well done.
You are a quality act my lad I hope to see bb as homebuilders someday
Top project, enjoyed the start to finish complete build.. :)
Love watching a good bricklayer work.
Wow .. hats off to you mate..stunning job , love the skylights on the flat roof , but the quality of the brick laying is topnotch ,enjoyed every minute of the videos
Wow, Commodore! Yer fam from Maine sends their compliments and best wishes - top notch!
Hey Connor. How how
Dope work, some of the cleanest and best 🧱 laying skills I’ve ever seen hands down great job 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾
Top job stu
Brickwork is immaculate as usual. Well done
That looks like some top quality workmanship there!
That editing was awesome.. Loved the final result too that is some talent
Cheers matey
I never thought that construction site can be so clean and tidy
Top job on the extension boys, and the video was class. 👏🏼
Absolutely superb mate start to finish top
Ive been very fasinated with videos like this, i dont know if im getting old or what lmao but still very good editing stu well done. Really enjoyed it.
Wow bro you such a professional your work is amazing I wish you can build for me here in South Africa
VERY sophisticated design, construction and craftsmanship!
Impressive and, I believe, expensive.
Nice job, Great work!
Love this sort of video 👍
Fulfilled my inner OCD. Quality.
Some nice camera moves on the finished article. Could almost say they were done by a professional! :-)
Lovely job ,Stu .
Thanks for the share .
Золотые у тебя руки! Когда смотрю твои видео, отдыхаю душой! Дай Бог тебе здоровья! Успехов тебе во всех твоих начинаниях!
Enjoyed every aspect of the build. A rough cost of the extension, excluding the interior would help us to budget our build would be greatly appreciated Stu. Keep up the great work and content 👍🏽
Looking at £100k for that today
Absolutely lovely end result, fantastic !!! Video was really put together too 👍
Cheers
What is the name of these bricks?
Beautiful job Stu. Loved every minute 👍👍
Probably best bricklayer in town, awesome👍✌️✌️
Stunning Stu well done . Roof totally over engineered but that is better than the other way . Well done ,good job !
Indeed. With those RSJs going in I presumed they were adding another strorey!
@@DiscoFang Thought that too as well, im sure between Stu and family they have good connections in other trade areas to get favourable prices as opposed to prices for strangers.
Nice to see stuff done to last look the "olden days" as opposed to stuff being thrown up all around the country only to have to be revisited within a decade after people shell out 1000's!!
Stunning mate, absolutely stunning, Life long builder that loves perfection, you hit the mark every time. Well done Stu and KC
cheers shane buddy we try our best
Looks absolutely stunning. Great work!
Very beautiful bricklaying work! Nice and neat mortar application.
Very clean job
I'd be happy for this company to do my build work very professional , man after my own heart.
enjoyed the video similar to the car rebuilding ones that i have watched on youtube
Very, VERY enjoyable to watch (Y) great work!
Cracking brick laying that lad 👍 looks ace.
Outstanding finish 👏
Lovely end result, but we need to work on your choice of music lad!
Great job, it brings me memory of when i was working on construction site. Nice music too.
Lovely facework and the exterior lights finished it off very nicely!
I would have put mastic down the joint by the wall starters. As the extension settles the morter will crack along that joint.
There's always one.
Aaah, nothing better than to watch other people work.
One of the most lovely’s videos of all time
Great work guys! Beautiful extension!
I always thought the brits were the best brickies and you confirm that mate.
I also thought most of the good ones died off because of the fried breakfast 👍
Americans be like: where's the cardboard?
Prefab drywall kitchen remodel, get some material and tile from Walmart 3/16ths and 2 8ths of lumber Yee haw
I'm Canadian and other than tighter building codes and more insolation, our construction techniques are similar to Americans. The entire time i was watching this i was thinking that it was overkill for s single story addon and that it looks SUPER difficult to make any changes after construction, like you can't just open up one of those walls to add wiring or a window or something and looks really really expensive vs our wood construction ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Yea im tired of seeing wood base house construction, no matter how pretty wooden house is, it is still a WOOD, not as strong and beautiful as concrete and bricks
European regs I like. Made to last. We don't have to board up windows during storms.
@@thornwayne Why are you so against wood? lol. You must like living in a concrete prison. Concrete cracks and is heavy. Wood is cheap, strong, and easy to work with. You can put bricks as a reinforcement. Do you work as a construction worker or tree saving feminist?
I must say, a very clean job. Well done!
Mate you have no idea how helpful this video has been, thank you so much for sharing. Luigi
I've watched this video 3 times. YT still thinks it should be in the recommended section still.
Flat roofs are a nightmare, they are covered in moss in no time flat , better to have a pitch and use tile, they last longer.
Your bricky is an artist
Just brilliant work. Well done.
Quite apart from your excellent skills, I really like those bricks.
I'm going to school in Norway now to become a "bricklayer" and a few other things linked to that. They're teaching us to use slightly different materials then you used and some more bracing for the inside bricks and instead of insulation we leave space for the air to circulate behind the outer bricks. No disrespect intended, looks awesome anyway.
@ Andrei Cosma I argree for sure!
But the way he did make the foundation is pretty weird actually...
yeah more common material is PIR insulation (celotex etc) and its necesary to leave gap ,wool might be fine as is considered air permeable(however i would stick to pir)
Amazing. 👍👍 From Colorado, USA!!! 🇺🇸🇬🇧
Thats stunning lads, keep up the great work. Great finish.
Felicidades : ).- A great Job.-
Stu.How are Ya.
Just Wondered. Why don’t you insert some insulation in the back of the tray damp.( angled pair board ) the DS / building control in my area
Ask for it. I can see the logic in doing so, also I personally know that rock wall Saggs over time .
A top tip for keeping the cavity clean. Use metal frame ceiling channel. ( MF7 as you build moveing it up as you go along.
Keeps it real clean.
All the best Jim
I wondered that, could he have used Celotex or maybe those insulated beams that I cannot recall the name of....
Great stuff stu as always lad!
I'm a bricklayer improver and I hope I can do this one day! amazing job
Lovely bit of bricklaying that. Shame we didn't see all the other trades in action that contributed to such a high end build. Great quality workmanship. Terrible choice of music though 🙉
He is a bricklayer... what did you expect!? 🤣🤦🏻♂️
Hi Stu,
What’s the price for this kind of extension if you do it ur self? Looks amazing!
Many thanks
Fantastic build. I've learnt a lot watching this video.
Top drawer lads. Well done. 👏🏽
