- As the end draws nearer for these Classic 747's it becomes more and more of a pleasure to capture this true workhorse on camera. The true power that the 4x Rolls Royce RB11 engines produce never fails to amaze me and although this really wasn't my best camerawork I was super happy with the sound :) I hope you still enjoy this video nonetheless.

AvGeek "Best engines" ???? WTF ???? More PW and CFM engines used on 747, and these RR engines, noisy, are the reason the 747-8 uses the GE Genx engines !! Much quieter !!!

Fantastic video again dude! Big like! The RB211s are absolutely great engines. The sound is great and can't be replicated and they are just right for such a magnificent aircraft as the Qantas 747. Congratulations on 2900 subscribers! You're nearly at the big 3000!

If you have subscribers based in Manila Philippines, it should be familiar to them because Cathay Pacific also operates RB211 B747s on Hong Kong to Manila round trips.
Wow what a catch Dj absolutely loved the spool up of OJU caught her so many times and she's still in super strong condition I reckon and the JQ A320 looked pretty at the start the camerawork was crisp, clear, sharp and contrast was perfect loving those 60fps videos and only 100 more subs till your 3000 sub special is uploaded so anyway a bloody massive like

Very sad to know that the most of these nice 747's in Qantas fleet will be retired in the next 5 years. And like many airiliners they will replace them with 787 or A350 or 777. Airliners just dont want the 747-8 :(
It is really sad mate, luckily we will still have the ER's still maybe 2025
