Just did this on my 2021 ninja 1000sx. I used the same link pipe from Max Torque Cans, and following your video, it turned out great. I have a custom shorty slip on that I use and it sound absolutely phenomenal. Thank you so much for this video. It helped me tremendously!!!

@@awesomeagnihotrisvlog I didn't dyno it, but I can tell you that there is just a little power gain, not significant. More importantly it feels like the engine can breath better and smoother.

I was going to do this, but then I saw the Delkevic full exhaust with 8" carbon fiber can for $575 and bought it. It does not need tuning and is loud. Louder than the Acra on a RSV4, but not as bad as a SC1 on a 1200 Monster, I couldn't hear myself think on that bike. Yours sounds great.

Semi-related: do the factory panniers still fit with that slip on? It looks like it mounts much higher up than the stock end can.

How hard is to get the header pipes off as they're a bit awkward to get to w/o swinging the radiator a bit out of the way (is what i think) - I need to get that job done because they're rusted and an eyesore - need to clean it before priming and painting - did you reuse the gaskets ? cheers

Will it pass an MoT. I have the SP full carbon slip on, love the look, but mega disappointed with the sound. By cutting the cat, you can’t put it back together to get through an MoT, so would it get through an MoT like that?
