      Hi! Thanks for the feedback 😊 they serve draft beer and beer cans at the bar, depending on availability. You will also have cans in your mini fridge in your room. Not too sure on the difference between ocean front/view. One of them might have a partial ocean view as opposed to full ocean view. The resort is shaped like a horseshoe, so the ocean view/front rooms will be a the very ends of the horseshoe facing the beach.

      The RIU Palace Baja California and the RIU Palace Cabo San Lucas are both considered Palaces. The other one in between them is the RIU Santa Fe (not a palace). Both RPBC and RPCSL are pretty much equal in offerings and what you get. It's more so a matter of which one you aesthetically like better.

    Thanks for this! I have a few questions. I plan on going for my birthday in November. Debating on which to do between the three. More so leaning to Baja or CSL
    1. How is the food and entertainment at Baja? Is there something to do every night?
    2. From the review photos, are the bed and CSL close together? And not separated?
    3. Are there a lot of activities to do such as paddle board/kayak etc?
    Sorry if you answered these questions in the video. It’s a lot to take in and also just admiring the views lol Thank you so much!

    • @WherewegoingNext

      Awesome place to spend your birthday mate!
      1. Food is excellent, lots of selection. We did a buffet tour too, check that out to see selections. Yes there is always some entertainment in the evening at Baja. Sometimes it’s interactive, others times it’s just performers. Nothing crazy, but it’ll keep you busy.
      2. Sorry I’m not sure what you mean by beds. Do you mean are they spaced out in the room? Are you looking for more space?
      3. There’s certainly activities on shore, but the water activities are limited. This is because the waves and undertow are dangerous, so they recommend not swimming in front of the hotels. There’s a lagoon about 20 min walk to the right of the hotels (if you’re looking at the water).
      You’re welcome! Hope you enjoy !!!

    I'm watching this in March 2021, and want to say thank you! This is a wonderfully detailed video; easy to watch, not jerky, very informative and helpful for someone like me who gets a little nervous traveling to a new place. A question, you said the water is not for swimming, but would you be able to go in to just your knees or waist? And as for the lounges by the pool or under the shade on the beach, do the staff monitor these at all? I know on a cruise they say that you can (after a few hours of non use) give the holding towels to a staff member and use the loungers. Also, you're showing the pool/beach early in the morning; wondering how crowded it gets mid-day? We're planning an October trip, and just seeing this video makes me want to go now. Subscribing and off to view more videos!

    • @WherewegoingNext
      @WherewegoingNext  Před 3 lety +2

      You're very welcome !! :) Thank you for the kind words! You can dip your feet/knees in. Even with that, as the waves go back out into the sea, you can feel a strong current on your legs. From what we observed, the staff do not monitor the towels. It's more of a first come, first serve kinda deal unfortunately. With that said, we never went without a spot. In terms of crowding, they have 4 pools which spreads people out nicely. The pool over by the steps is usually the most crowded as people like to socialize at that one. The other pools are more low key.
      Thank you for the subscribe!!!! Much appreciated!! Have fun on your trip in October, let us know how it went!

      Awesome - congrats on your anniversary! You'll be fine in choosing either Palace (Baja California or Cabo San Lucas). Most of the rooms at Cabo San Lucas have an oceanview - whereas baja california you can get stuck looking out Santa Fe. Baja only has a handful of oceanview rooms. Both are comparable in terms of activities and food - so you'll be safe in that regard! We noticed the pools are heated at Baja California - much cooler at San Lucas. Outdoors, they’re required if you’re not able to socially distance, it trust me, there’s lots of space. Buffets are cafeteria style, servers will get you your food when you tell them what you want. Just point and they’ll load it up. Employees are on a 24/7 mask policy, and they stick to it to a T. Resort is selling well under capacity to ensure guests aren’t crammed in. Tables at buffets are sanitized after each use. Hand sanitizer is everrryyyyywhere. Go for sure, you won’t be disappointed.
