    I just left from there. We spent 7 days at the resort. The resort itself is beautiful. We had ocean view rooms. Gorgeous view. There is one TV in the room. It is over by the sofa area. It took them 3 days to put batteries in safe before we could use it. By the end of our stay. They had no wash clothes or hand towels. Room service is limited to a salad and two different sandwiches. It was not good. The breakfast buffet, the bacon was burned and like jerky. Coffee bar awesome but I don't drink coffee. Entertainment low key. The Italian food was good. Now the swim up bar was awesome. I don't drink but those Virgin Shirley Temples were delicious. My family enjoyed it. So it was fun for drinkers and non drinkers. The view all around was just amazing. I could just sit on my balcony in awe of the surroundings. Again beautiful place. Also we requested 6 months out no alcohol in our room. Guess what it was fully stocked with alcohol but we had nothing in our refrigerator. Our excursions were great. The staff was great.

The resort was amazing everything you said and more! We really enjoyed it! Both have excellent food, drinks, staff, and activity options. moderate entertainment. Both allow you access to all 3 RIUs in the area (short walk between them). I find you get a better view from your room at san Lucas. Hope that helps! ☺️

      I would say you might have a partial ocean view in the swim out rooms - depending on whether your room is closer to the beach or the lobby (one side of the resort has a restaurant in the way of the beach as well). Since the rooms are obviously on the ground level and there are privacy patricians between the rooms, this will limit the view of the ocean - but you probably get a good view in the pool outside of your room 👍🏻

      I don’t think they enforce a pool closing time, as people swim late into the evening… but the pool bars close around 5:30.

      No, the beach is not swimmable. This is more of a family resort - if you want a party atmosphere, you can go to RIU Santa Fe.

    • @WherewegoingNext
      @WherewegoingNext  Před 2 lety

      Good question. RP Baja California is adults only. So between CSL, and Santa Fe, I would say CSL. Santa Fe attracts a very big PARTY crowd because of RIU Party. It's a bit much especially if you have young kids. If I recall, CSL also has RIU LAnd for kiddos!

      Congrats!! If your exclusively looking in Cabo, the Cabo San Lucas is great. I’d you’re open to Cancun, RIU palace peninsula is our no. 1. We love swimming in the ocean, and Cabo’s beach is not swimmable. Peninsula is also so close to cancun, you can party at the downtown bars ... lots of excursion options. Beautiful views from all of the rooms. It’s the complete package! ☺️
