    this is really beautiful, it feels like a romantic composer is reborn. especially for this playing is just freaking midi

      Thank you so much for listening & the kind words... I tried to write this in a romantic era style, to explore a bit of the possibilities and such. The midi is still horrible, the dynamics fluctuate randomly all over the place and I somehow managed to fuck up the entire reverb of the piece hahha, it’s sound so distorted all the way

      Don't worry I think I understood most of your comment :D Thank you for the kind words and yes I will continue, that is for sure ;) As for the roman numeral analysis... I don't make analysis of my own work (aside from correcting my own work during the composing process), that is up to others if they are interested in it. The point of an analysis is to learn something from a piece or to get a better understanding from it. There a millions of works that offer something to learn, I chose to upload music theory videos of works that I am interested in myself, so the gain is double. I learn something from it and I share this via this medium. I hope you understand.

      @@TimondeNood Oh yes I understand better for the analysis of the degrees and I even agree with you in reality xD I do not do it for my own compo too, and the answer to my question was obvious for me too.
      Great first mov of your last Sonata ;)

    Sounds good but it sounds meaningless for me. Maybe try to find a more recognizable structure/tune or a more interesting structure. (Not saying it is bad)

    • @TimondeNood
      @TimondeNood  Před 4 lety

      Meaningless? Well... to me the structure is fairly simple and understandable. Maybe you are desoriented by the many ornamentations, it is an impromptu in a way so that might explain your feelings about this piece? I'd like to add that, IMO, there cannot be any real meaning in music. But maybe you meant something different

      @@TimondeNood Well, for me the music by Beethoven has deep meaning but anyway...

    • @TimondeNood
      @TimondeNood  Před 4 lety +1

      I agree, there is many music that has a meaning to me, a subjective meaning that differs from person to person... but there is a difference in intrinsic meaning and subjective meaning created by a opinions of people. Therefor just the music on itself is meaningless. Once performed and articulated it evokes emotions & feelings of the audience. Then people give it meaning. This is how I think about it.
