A game with intentionally obtuse game mechanics - nothing tells you what it does and you have to observe the effect. Perfect for Tom.
I always though creeper world was the perfect game for tom but I was clearly wrong. This is it. He understands the mechanics so well it was like he was born to play it.
pollo = atk speed buff?
tickle = slows down enemies?
rain = kills a few enemies near where you put donw your card?
Protector= Armour buff near where you put down the card?

But it was absurdly fast paced, to be fair, I only noticed when rain killed people when he used it on its own.

1) I sense that the devs may have made this to vent their frustrations about twitter :D
2) what was that big castle type place in the middle of Asia that you seemed to miss? (tbf, I didn't even consider that it might be a potential place to visit til about halfway through watching)
It's an altar where you can sacrifice cards to get higher tier ones like the wizard or a dragon. Nice to get rid of all the tier 1 cards you have in excess and get some blue/red ones. It's not necessary though (like Tom showed), the game is easy enough to complete without it.
The only certainties are death, taxes and Tom playing Ludum Dare game jam games after each Ludum Dare.
I now feel like the bird on Tom's Bird T-Shirt is secretly a worm piloting a bird like a mech. Also, the poem, *_"Song of the Worm"_* by Eliza Cook is a perfect read upon finishing this video.

Why do youtubers kinda dont take a second to see what some game mechanics are. If that rain is based off where the card is placed then he could be demolishing 10 times harder, and the fact pollo (pronounced poyo for the love of god) seems the best spell, but he did his best to avoid it cuase the minigame was slightly harder then the rest, even though it freezes time. Ofc tom seemed to be entertained slash have fun and thats the most important part, and if he try harded it wouldnt be tom and wouldnt have is charm. Doesnt mean he cant try a little bit though pls tom poyo not pualo
Edit: he figured out spells were ranged based, but muscle memory made him still waste them 80 percent of the time
