If you're looking to visit a particular site, let us know. Our expert guides can route the tour to include it - though keep in mind, Arlington Cemetery is an active cemetery and we must respect the privacy of services.

I know that the soldiers have maintained guard continuously for decades. I find it hard to believe they go through the full act for the changing when no one else is around in the middle of a winter's night.

They do not go through the same ceremony when the cemetery is closed. They have a modified roaming patrol on the plaza. With that said, when there is no audience, this is a good time for new guards to practice.

As a lover of American history, I would love to visit the cemetery one day. I have never been to D.C. I wonder though does the JFK eternal flame continue burning during pouring rain and snow?

IMO they shouldn't have buried the Kennedy's in a sacred cemetery for only the brave soldiers that gave the ultimate price for our country during times of war. ✨ 🇺🇸
    Not some politician.
    That's only IMO.
