Long story short
He was going in the wrong steps, and she had enough. He was ashamed of his past. He left her because he didn't want her to see him after uncovering his past. In the first scene, we see her begging him not to go. In the second scene, she left him because she had enough and went with another guy (the driver) who wouldn't leave her.
Long story
The show starts with him killing his friend because they were playing a game on a rooftop. I believe he tripped trying to catch a ball, and his friend was accidentally pushed off the rooftop. The main leads met after the guy got out of jail. He wanted to move away from his past, and in a way, she was his fresh start. They started to develop feelings as they worked at the same store. Suddenly his friends came back, he worked somewhere else with them, got arrested and he didn't see her after some time. However, they always coerced him and told him that he shouldn't be happy and move on after what he did.
So of course when he got back in her life, one of his friends told her about his past.
In the first scene, she begged him not to go because she didn't care about his past. However, he wanted her to be the only person who didn't see him differently, so he ran off.
He left for a long time because he beat up a guy and went to jail or something because of it. She finally had enough, someone else had feelings for her. Aka the driver in the second scene. He offered her her dream job, and second lead truly loved her. She was not fully over him, but she told him to stop so that she wouldn't get hurt. She was tired that she had waited for him for so long.
