I don't believe his actions are anything but acting. What makes me angry ids this kind of content. Actors are actors. Some, if not all are probably nice people who just want to make a living,. It's the content that is horrible
I don't like the content, but this man is a powerful actor. Pretending all the tough emotions must be difficult, but he does a superb job.
People need to remember that this is FICTION, as in NOT real. The fact that the ML, Shu Tong Moon, makes you hate the character that he plays shows what a really talented actor he really is, the character is NOT him personally. If you cannot separate the two, you probably should not be watching dramas. Can you imagine how many emotions he has to go through in the course of this drama? And then turn it off when the director tells them to cut and move to another scene. Is this an easy watch? No, but it is good due to the grittiness. He also has other roles that he has played not like this.

Yes...I am very much disgusted with the ML. He is soo evil.... but let us bear in mind that he is just acting, he's good coz he can act well.
Funny how people hate the actor behind the character and not understand that he is acting. I say if people hate him that much then he must be doing a great job acting.

dramas with domestic violence are normally a skip for me but i skipped my way through the complete version of this one just coz it was Shu Tong Moon (ML). i love him, such a talented, great actor. he needs to be more mainstream than these short ones he plays on. He was so believable in this drama, but the water works when the FL passed away... this was such a contrast to his dramas where he plays funny/rom-com roles...

He is really good at playing scumbags, including this role. You really hate him. I was hoping that that this ML didn't get the FL or her daughter back. He did too much damage and trauma on his ex-wife. He only wanted her back because he wanted his punching bag back, and he saw what a cute daughter they had. How convenient he readily forgot what he did to his ex-wife. He walked over her dying, bleeding body, and had her water boarded. Yeah, I really hated him in this drama.

My introduction to these two actors was of them being all lovey dovey and horny with each other from start to finish. So I always had a positive vibe when I see him acting regardless how huge of a red flag of almost all his dramas were.
Is this the same ML actor from the CEO's inexcusable wife? And also could you upload that drama as well? I really feel in love with the story but it's outrageous expensive to pay for. For the price i paid to watch five 3 minute episodes i could have paid for a whole months worth of Netflix. I just can't justify that price because im not made of money and i desperately want to finish the series 🙏😭
ML actor is amazing .. don’t care for ML abusing FL type of dramas even more so cause I was a victim of such a crime .. I think this might be one of the first short dramas I watched and I really thought the actor was great and should be in bigger budget dramas he’s is a rare talent indeed .. but had to skip many parts and I found other short dramas they too were ML abusive driven drama I kinda thought oh maybe all the short dramas are like this .. but to my joy I started finding short dramas without the torture and abuse of female lead. Found many since then where ML is loving and trusting and protective of female lead and Female lead doesn’t allow here self to fall prey to scheming evil vixen or her evil parents .. where both leads help and support and love each other .. so happy I kept searching now these type of drama are popping up more then the abusive ones .. to each it’s own I know .. always read comments before watching so u can know whether the drama is something you would like to watch or not .. I have found a few actors in these short dramas that I like and have noticed that all the drama I have seen them in have never been abusive ones only where they are the loving Male Lead .. so when I see a new drama pop up with them as lead I pretty much know they won’t involve him beating up female lead. But I still read comments just to double check …
It amazing me that some of these actors and actress or so good at their craft that they they have not been discovered for bigger dramas. Well I guess I have seen a couple actors in these short drama screen end up in big budget dramas so hope is not lost .. keep fighting actors and actresses.. and thank u for all your hard work and hard work of everyone involved in making these dramas and bringing them to us and giving us English translation so we can enjoy them !!! comments below say he is a good actor,. yes he is,. so is everyone else in this drama. I haven't read all the comments and absolutely know that this is fiction but as in some fiction there lies a bit of truth. I don't have a problem with any of that. what my issue is and why I don't like these type of shows is just how many of them there are on CZcams. they depict rape, torture, physical abuse (beatings), a lot show how the abuser tortures her family and they end up dead and friends too. one or two shows like this is normal but when these and this story line takes up most of Chinese drama it gives me pause. the remakes of the same kind of thing over and over again is a bit questionable. makes me think this is acceptable behavior in some cultures. I believe there is better stuff then this but why do these channels post them.
It’s very simple. Don’t watch app dramas. These are episodic dramas culled from apps posted on CZcams. They aren’t your usual dramas on the web platforms. When you see an app drama format (looks like filmed with iPhone), don’t click and watch. It’s a very specific drama meant for a different kind of audience. .

I do enjoy it--the good and bad ones because the tropes are repeated often enough that I "enjoy" them. Also, I've gotten familiar with the actors that I look for them in the dramas with the same plots because they bring different nuances to the table. Sorry if you feel I attacked you. It was, like these drama, a misunderstanding LOL. I am serious, though, about the tropes being a trigger to some viewers, so I tell them, don't watch douyin dramas--they are full of triggers.
