This video truly convince me to buy Walthers Proto coaches in the near future

Great review. I prefer the type of wheel sets where you can paint the side Grimy and leave the tread shiny

Oh, that sounds like some good weathering there. What wheels do you prefer?

Get a Scaletrains or Intermountain ET44-C4 for power. See if you can find a Kato business car to follow the lounge car for now. Let's wait and see if Walthers does ever release the other cars. Use the ac6000 for frieght.

Re: Baggage car ... did ATSF actually have stainless baggage cars? Yes, likely some Budd, but didn't they have a huge number from the "Fast Mail" days that were themselves painted? Well, just a thought.

They should make all 12 cars to go with the Santa Fe 3751 & the 3 Santa Fe diesels to complete the Employee Special train.

That would be really cool, right? I hope they do it!

BNSF never had ac6000s, Broadway has made quite a few wrong paint schemes on the model. I would recommend getting a scale trains es44ac, it's a much better model if you're fine with the price. Also the road number in your video is actually an AC 44, which BNSF only has around 100 and I doubt they've been used much for business trains.

I'll probably get more GEs in BNSF. I appreciate the info on the prototypicality, but those factors never weigh in on what I put down on my track since my motto is "If i like it, I run it."

I am not a BNSF fan, but I do like the shine and reflection on those cars.

Definitely those cars are good for an overgrown raccoon like me!

Put Warren Buffet in the cab and stick a Berkshire Hathaway caboose on the end...

This would make for the ultimate business train, to be sure! Love it!

The baggage car would not be in real metal finish. The prototype is a Pullman Standard baggage car that is painted aluminum color, but is not the same stainless steel as the other cars.
None of the cars should have skirting. The Santa Fe did away with that by the late 1950s.
Spot on about the lack of theater cars/observation cars. Kato made a reasonable business car, I think off of a Burlington prototype, but passable for ATSF with a few modifications. Theater cars are available in brass. Though a friend of mine and I are working on designing theater cars to print. I suspect many of the manufactures will not be doing those theater cars because of limited potential sales volume.
The entire business train was a warmed over and repainted version of the Super Chief set that Walthers has released several times. Same tooling for everything.

    Were these cars recently released?

I think some people were getting them around the end of May?
