The bigger the sword, the heavier it is, with that weight can come some advantages

Virtuous Treaty has to be one of my favourite looking swords in all media. It had this duality were it looks both traditional and modern, simple yet complex. It has a unique memorable appearance without an exaggerated fantasy design and that is something really hard to pull of nowadays. I love this sword.

Coming from recommended videos, I thought to myself "Oh, it'll just be a small scale build. Boy, was I wrong, and I'm glad I was. This might have been the most incredible thing I've watched being built since some of Adam Savage's one-day builds. Mad props, and keep 'em coming!

You guys need to do a collaboration with Skallagrim and/or Scholagladiatoria (or any other historical swords expert) to review all the fantasy swords you built. These things are amazing workmanship, but they cannot possibly be balanced well for real world usage. Skallagrim has/had a series where he evaluated various fantasy swords but since he did not have actual examples to play with it was all theoretical. You guys could take that to the next level. Please make it happen.

Fantasy sword and real life use doesn't fit well together. Let Skall review it and he would just said: this sword doesn't work, here a problem and there a problem. Why would AWE want to give it to somebody that gonna point out the flaw of their product.

Love this sword! I think it's actually my number 1 favorite you've done so far. I mean it's the first one where I've said "damn, I would love to have one of those on my wall." I would be so nervous using a sword like that. It looks amazing, but the blade being separate from the tang just... idk man XD
well they forge it really well so unless you got hit by something overpowered it should be fine,and with these parts that separate the blade from the handle if you are good with a sword you can make the enemy blades pass through the gaps and moving quickly you can disarm them.but that is only if they manage to close in,something that i doubt with that blade size.
@@andermedievil the bending of the blade and it's extreme weight don't capitalize as "combat ready" it's just a replica for showcase, a sword like this can't be usefull in reallity... the handle also feels very quite untrustfull... feels like it's gonna hurt your hand on the impact, i'd only see this as an artistic point of view not tool like.

darka2664 no, that will never be practical. It's way too heavy and the sword has two HUGE week point with the rivet. It's an amazing sword but it's just a wall hanger.
