      While yes he is the "lord of all that is golden" and his real title is godrick the golden.
      He is nothing more than a coward who couldn't even defend his home or even resign to death when he lost a fight.
      He is called godrick the Gold beacuse he is distantly realated to Godwin the golden. Who is the child of Queen markia and the first elden lord.
      So he is technically a demi God. Although his divine blood is heavily diluted.
      During the time the capital was under attack he disgused him self as a woman and fled amongst them while stealing several treasures.
      He also learned the art of grafting to gain power. Grafting is of course fusing others limbs to himself.
      Thus he is mockingly called Godrick the grafted by other people and even in his boss bar name.
      During the time that he hide in storm veil castle he challenged and mocked Malenia, someone who fought Rahdan to a tie and a real demi God. After losing the fight instead of dying with honour and his family names honour, he begged for his life like a dog.
      Even his axe is nothing but a way to feel more connected to his blood line with the lion representing the animal that sat upon the back of the first elden lord.
      He is nothing but a disgrace to his family line.

      The axe you get in game requires 34 strength and 22 dexterity to use one handed. Starting the game with the background of hero or warrior nets you at most 16 in either stat. That’s for someone who trained for potentially years and could include themselves in the army of the first lord.
      Despite everything about him godrick was truly well above the level of a human for this to be his weapon. That being said if this thing were a 1:1 legitimate replica you’d need a winch to move it.

    I'm glad you're using CNC for these. It wouldn't be authentic to the games if you engraved it by hand. Those weapons were engraved with magic and we all know it. Nobody is sitting around a fantasy world tediously tapping away when they can just chant "abra cadabra, engrave my scabbard" and have it done. The dwarves claiming to do it by hand are just trolling adventurers, they don't have near enough time to do by hand all the engraving hanging up on their walls.

    • @Merennulli
      @Merennulli Před 2 lety +16

      @@alexanerose4820 If you watch any media with dwarves working, the time spent on the part they're shown working on doesn't ever add up with the time to complete the amount of work they have done.
      Realistically, it's a programmer, CG artist, or team of set designers making all the engraved work hanging on their walls, and we're only shown brief clips of craftsmanship to imply the rest. But media doesn't care about the reality of how long those would take to complete, so it just jumps ahead to that craftsman having 800 hours of tedious work completed in 20 minutes.
      As an audience, we're meant to ignore it, but their completion times invariably imply that as soon as we stopped looking they used magic to ACTUALLY get it done. (This is what is known as "fridge logic", the realizations you come to when you think through what all was said and done in some media, even though it isn't what the writers intended.)

      @@LongHoang88884 I love all Fromsoftware souls games and in my opinion Elden ring is one of my favorites up there with bloodborne. I've had an amazing time playing Elden ring and I love the vague mysterious story telling that they have going on in all of their souls games. The gameplay is also good if you are a fan of souls games. I would probably give it a 9/10 because there is a few minor things that I don't like (There is no perfect game). I have been thinking about giving final fantasy origin a try but I have never really been a huge fan of the final fantasy series of games neither their style of gameplay. But I'm not completely judging something out until I give it a try.
