I wonder if yuzuru had studied music theory before or he really just listened to so many songs that he knew when exactly to jump to match the beat lol because I can pin point a few patterns in music, but I only know because I was taught it, so if he hadn't, I'd be even more impressed

He's lean, has the right height and his muscles are physically strong enough. He has extreme mental ability to focus and control his body while performing. He is determined and motivated by his goals to the highest levels. And he has an amazing brain to recalculate or correct whatever is needed WHILE skating. He literally immerses himself into his programs on every level. I think all of this together makes him so unique and standing out so much among the skaters. Literally you have Yuzuru Hanyu and everybody else. He is alone in his own league.

He is a graceful as a classical ballet dancer, he has the musicality, the physical beauty, the athleticism, his incredible intelligence and his unbelievable showmanship. He is gifted with everything possible, but has driven himself so hard to realise his full potential. And on top of that, he's humble and funny! I mean, how?
if you don't know the music for his program, you will definitely think that this is the music for his program. he is so talented that he always skates better than the original skaters skate to their music since he just makes all his movements match with the background music beautifully, even this is the first time for him to hear that song. He is figure skating itself.
Nathan's performance is so impressive! So powerful and energetic!... And then comes Yuzu: relaxed, laid back, comfortable - as if figure skating was the easiest thing on the planet.
Long skate on one foot, land effortlessly, jump height with correct technique, flow and speed, musicality, power, interpretation. This is figure skating, this is what Yuzu showed in 1,13 minute, this is what some medal skaters don't have...
If I didn't know better I'd thought this was his chosen music, but it's a spontaneous performance and that blows my mind. Yuzuru Hanyu is in his element.

You know how pianists, violinist, guitarist, saxophonists, conductors - all go autopilot when they're in the zone? I think yuzu skates like that. He may not hold any instrument but he got them blades to work with
