- Connor (Jack Falahee) has been tirelessly searching to find the reason Annalise picked him to join the K5, and his search takes him to Bonnie (Liza Weil). Connor finds out the Annalise didn't choose him at all: It was Bonnie. From 'Family Sucks,' season 6, episode 6 of How To Get Away With Murder. This was the purest thing. Jack and Liza's acting here is just breathtaking.
Exactly
@@gzastheartist6114 lmao pay your own rent
Connor is the only one that tries to do right things. He wasn't even part of the bad things that happened on seasons 4 and 5. The others are still immature.
Queen B tbh, if corner listened to wes when they were getting rid of sams body, they wouldn’t have been in this mess to begin with. But instead corner insisted to put it in the garbage
@@will1998100 They would be all in jail in season 1 because of the DNA... Also, he never murdered anyone... he just helped get rid of the body
@Sean Flysoul Of course it is but he wouldn't have to do it if Rebecca's dumb ass didn't intimidate Sam
Michaela never murdered anyone either. She also wanted to go to the police. She was also the only one who felt bad about them trying to frame Nate for Sam's murder back in season 2.
@Dr.abusemywife
That's not true. If that's the case why did Laurel steal Michaela's ring? She wanted Michaela to think she lost it at the crime scene to make her more malleable to the cover up and prevent her from going to the cops. You forget at first Michaela was freaking out and was watching them dispose of Sam's body. She didn't even want to touch the body, much less bury it in the woods or help them move it out the house. Where do you think smile or go to jail came from? Only Connor and Michaela wanted to go to the cops that night. AK stopped Connor and Laurel stopped Michaela.
Both Wes and Laurel didn't switch up about going to the cops until seasons later when too many bodies had piled up. Wes talked to AK murder night and she told him how to dispose of the body. She also told him to convince the others to help. He gave them the illusion of choice for disposing the body when he did the coin toss with the two sided coin. He led them along the entire way using AK's instructions. The only thing they didn't do was incinerate the body. That eventually came back to haunt them later.
AT LAST!
We now finally know why Connor was chosen, ergo we finally know why all of them were chosen for the K5 in the first place, I’d been ruling this reason out, but it makes sense and out of all of them it looks like Connor’s the only one who was chosen who had no connections to Annalise and who Annalise didn’t know anyone or anything in his family background or his parents. He was chosen for his ambition and aspirations as a student, probably the most unique and purest out of the K5.
And i am hoping this gives a bit of a guarantee that at least Connor, and hopefully Oliver, will have a happy ending by the time this is all over
he really is the unique one in k5
WaltZ015 it’s sad but i think they are not going to have a happy ending :(
Wes from when he was young, Michaela cause her dad , Connor ambitious, laural because Frank thought she was cute? Asher can't remember?
I think all of them were chosen by Annalise. Bonnie claims she chose him and Frank chose Laurel but it came out that she was chosen because of her being in the Castillo family.
Connor: Bro Nate why was I picked I for the keating 5?
Nate:dId yOu JuSt say yOu KillEd mY pOpS?
Hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Best comment award🏆😂
The thing i like about Bonnie is that we think we know her,her story but i feel like we actually don't.We don't know when she's lying or not.Plus that innocent face is so damn hard to read😩best supporting character in the show for me.
Sestra Sestra I totally agree with you!!! She's the character I don't want to lose. I want more of her story especially about her son.
@@junelgarsuta4714 Me too.I love her so much
I agree..she's phenomenal
@@junelgarsuta4714 Connor is her son.
Cauê Braga legit?
I hope this is true so there’d be one person who was picked for genuine reasons rather than having prior ties
I want to believe this is true but if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s to never assume with Bonnie. She is a true master of manipulation. She always delivers a deadly blow that no one ever sees coming.
So wait did Frank just pick Laurel cause she was cute?
I feel like he picked her because of the beef with the Castillos...I feel like that's what was said before or either my mind made that up because it's so fucken creepy if he just picked her because he thought she was cute.
Mizukage Yagura yes
Perhaps.
Annalise Sweeting your way makes way better sense !! I can't even remember if it was stated it felt like the way Bonnie said it we were just finding out
It was stated Frank does a very deep background search of all of Annalise students. Annalise has a reason for picking all of them because it’s very clear Bonnie and Frank don’t call any shots!!!
I hope this is true. It will be at least one of the purest thing that happened in this show, and god knows we need those.
It is sad to know now that he made up the story about the gay conversation camp
I know! 😢
But now at least we know the TRUE reason of why he was choosen. There's no way these people didn't find out that he lied from the beginning... They knew it and that's why they picked it. Anyobody who was brave enough to make it up and get away with it was worthy of being in the team.
Honestly, this makes this scene even more awesome.
(Plus it was very amazing to see how much he has matured in these years. Even before prison, Old Connor was dead.)
Conversation camp? Just a bunch of gays gossiping and a bunch of closeted gay men trying to stop them eh? Lol
@@credendovides20 I think you're wrong, Annalise said they only found that Connor was lying a week before the trial, and that she truly believed he was a good person. Why would Annalise say he was a good person if they found the lie before Connor was chosen? They didn't meet him yet. The only premise that makes sense is they found the lie right before the trial. Which means Bonnie believed the gay camp story was true when she picked him.
@@sylobloc4774 The fact that Annalise lied even in trial doesn't seem so shocking to me at all.
I find it very fitting that she said that: she was closing doors, that was imo her way to say that she really considered him to be a good person after all before he betrayed her.
And it also makes sense that she picked him exactly because he lied about this, she didn't exactly picked people because how good they were; by lying over this matter and making it through nevertheless he showed all the characteristics that she was looking for.
Bonnie is lying he's probably her long-lost son that they said died
Maybe she's not lying but she doesn't know the real reason either to see but Annalise does
I feel Bonnie lying too! Think about how quick she told Asher she Killed Sam and she didn't
Adam Ure yeah Annalise picked every single one of them. Even Laurel who she claims Frank picked which is probably ultimately a lie. She clearly picked on Laurel in class and tried to embarrass her just to see her fight back. Just like she lied deeply about not knowing Michaelas father whom she seems to have been romantically associated with and she also had a way to contact him easily. She picked all of them because she wanted all of them for some reason. Though her picking Connor may truly be something as simple as seeing herself in him, since she keeps saying she has been afraid to be gay all her life. And in that note, I hope we see Eve again before this is over.
Lmfaooooo
Lorenzo Baker Same because I knew she was involved with tegan, I hoped that if she fakes her death she’d get back with Eve somewhere, it’s the only healthy relationship she’s had, she fucked over too much the other lovers even she helped at the end she still was behind most of their problems in order to protect the 5
i'd like this to be true tbh. it's too big of a stretch for all FIVE of them to have been chosen bc of ulterior motives. i want connor to have been chosen bc of his worth; his skills and determination to make it and his ruthlessness. let him have this
“Nothing good comes hating yourself”
I really miss watching this series HTGAWM, their acting was superb specially Viola Davis.
When he said, “im just tired”. I felt that.
She's covering for Annelise...it will all come full circle in the episodes 2 come...he probably had that heart attack from finding out the true reason why
Excellent commentary on the ongoing back and forth of Welsh rugby! This does a great job describing the huge amount of stories coming out….fingers crossed we see these issues resolved soon
If there were going to be more seasons, Connor would have been given a different reason on why he was chosen, but since there are a few episodes left and Michaela’s backstory seems to be the focal point of this season, Connor’s backstory wasn’t stretched out :(
why is he the one who always gets treated like trash? Even asher had a better story line with that David allen case. S04 was all about laurel and we all know about michaela. The fact that we know so less about his back story and this was the perfect opportunity to explore that and I don't buy this was because it was the last season, they still could have done so much better with and all those hints annalise gave that they were similar and all was for nothing... she didn't even pick him. This was a weak story line.
This honestly makes no sense, Bonnie never paid any attention to Connor and I'm supposed to believe she's the one who picked him for the K5?
This it's exactly what I thought during this part, I think they should've created a better idea to explain why Connor is in the K5
they just rushed this shit
@Ma'Jah Pho yeah it was implied that annalise gave him that trophy not bonnie..
@Ma'Jah Pho yes and after this that scene did came to my mind as well and she was recently smiling when connor was talking with Hector but I still think it wasn't well written because annalise always used to hint that she and connor were similar but they had bonnie pick him. It was just under whelming imo
@Ma'Jah Pho yeah it's wasn't a bad reason but I wished they didn't hype it up so much and they could have revealed this much earlier in the season if there were no follow-up to this story.
Although this seems to be a noble reason, I’m sure there is more to it than that. Bonnie is hiding the truth.
Or this show just wants us to think that
No Bonnie is just like she lied about killing sam
+James Dennis Personally, I think that there would've been a reason more tied to Annalise had the show been going on to season seven. But because it's ending, they decided to just make _that_ the reason for Connor being chosen.
PintheDog lol you don’t know that it’s exactly what annalise said Bonnie picked him just like laurel got picked by frank him and people in real life want it to be another reason so bad
@@kareemgriffin7835 I am fine with the reason that Connor got picked. I'm just saying that there might have been another one that was more tied to Annalise had the show gotten another season.
Ok that was great. I'm glad Connor didnt give up and kept looking
lmao as he should 😂
Was it ever said that Connor did this? However it may be, this is his clarification on why he was chosen and it's a beautiful reason, I'm glad Bonnie didn't turn him away and told him the truth!
Jack was amazing throughout the last 3 seasons
Viola & Alfred were definitely the best on the show but Jack's acting improved so much throughout the years
I’m both shocked and not surprised, it should have made sense that Bonnie chose one of them since Frank chose Laurel, so basically Annalise didn’t choose to hire or maybe didn’t want to hire Connor and Laurel, but she did choose Wes, Asher and Michaela, at least Bonnie choosing Connor didn’t affect things as bad as Frank choosing Laurel (even though I blame frank entirely for that not Laurel) the only question is why did Bonnie wait until now to finally tell Connor and how could Annalise not remember Bonnie chose him? She said in this episode she didn’t remember why she hired Connor which other than this gives me reason to believe there’s something more to it than just what Bonnie said here.
Maybe it has to do with the fact that telling connor her reason would also involve her revealing to him that she was abused as a child, a fact that she probably wasn't comfortable sharing with him until now.
I agree
Annalise lies so much she probably did forget.
KnowledgeGatherer DraftSaver I think she was just lying to him cause why else would they wait so long to tell him if that’s the reason she picked him.
Why did she choose Asher and Michaela? I don't remember
I did not like this reveal. I feel like they teased it for so long and even have his father confront Oliver saying “he doesn’t know the real Connor, or what he was capable of”. I guess I just expected something big...
That gave me CHILLS! I felt that
Re watvhing this clip and its crazy how connor really lied about the conversion camp!! She chose him because he could lie
Ever since Season 5, this show has gone down on being about court cases, and more about being a soap opera.
Since Season 5? At least since Season 3!
I don’t mind. I love it. The cast really draw you in.
Then stop watching
It’s BEEN a soap opera. And that’s why we love the show. You think this bunch of misfits could really spend 3 whole years getting away with all of their murders and deceit? Absolutely not. And for your information, the show has always been 30% cases of the week and 70% drama from the characters lives from the overarching narrative.
What the heck? Have you been watching the show? It’s always been about the drama. That’s why it’s so great. To your point of court cases, how often are they in court?
Connor is the best character of the whole series
I don’t know if I’m buying it.
Loved this
Bonnie is lying 🤥,she know the truth but she can’t tell Connor. After all we get through with this show, how can we believe such lame reason? Come on!
Eo De Scylla Oliver chose Connor
Dr.abusemywife Like I care about those 147 likes 🙄
damnit Shonda ya done did it again😭
I hope this is true. It was my theory from the beginning that Connor is the one who will become "The new Annalise" by the end of the show, he's way more like her than anyone in the K5 than he's given credit for.
he is a mini annalise for sure
I love Connor even with everything that happened I love that in the end he did the right thing ;-; I knew he had a good heart deep down
So a lot of people are saying that Oliver is the dead informant, hence the major break down connor did when the FBI showed him a picture... (which i hope isn't oliver).... I just love their characters so much, (even if oli has been acting weird this season)... they're like a breath of fresh air, amidst the deaths, there is still love and happiness... which is them.
I JUST HOPE THAT THE WRITERS WOULD SOLVE THE CRISIS COLIVER IS EXPERIENCING RN. AND I REALLY HOPE THAT OLIVER IS NOT THE DEAD INFORMANT.
Rasheed Custodio hes not remember him screaming I'm the murderer that was when Conner was having his heart attack. I'm pretty sure.
Thats the thing about life. We go through it looking for answers for things we think broke us. But when we finally get there you realise it was meaningless all along.
I love this show🧡
Guys can you give me the link to watch remaining episodes of season 6 🔥
Is it coming on Netflix Canada anytime soon?
Bonnie is lying lol
T.R. Williams
I kind of agree, especially because as I’ve already commented, this gives way to a plot hole or creates one from season 1 episode 2:
When Connor began questioning why Annalise chose Wes as opposed to him, Michaela, Asher and Laurel where he asks why is Wes here, Bonnie then said “Why are any of you here? That’s the question I keep asking myself.”
Except, she knew Frank chose Laurel and why would she say that if she’s telling the truth here that all along it was her who chose Connor and not Annalise?
Take it for what it is. They closed out that chapter on why he was selected.
where can i see the episodes season 6 still hasn't came out on netflix and i really wanna to catch up on the show it appears that it doesn't stream outside of the US
hulu
Does anyone know the music in the background? I know it’s by Photek Studio but I’m unsure of which one it is.
It's crazy how Frank and Bonnie picked the people that will end up defending Annalise and grow to be better people
What’s the season and ep when Bonnie founds how out what happened to sam and told Keating stop covering up for them kids
he was the only character who didn't came from a problematic monster family.
His family is terrible. Alcoholic mother and a dad who's jealous of his own son's confidence.
@@TWICEBLACKVELVET Still, he seems to have a great relationship with his sister, what with her trying to set him up. And was playing with niece & nephew at a Christmas party so maybe he has an okay extended family. Shit parents tho.
BUT THEY NEVER HANG OUT
Yeah, this kind of screams “retcon”
I have only ever seen clips that included at least Connor. Whenever Bonnie is around Connor she watches him. She is a watcher. It made her a great investigator at the DA's office. We know about Bonnie's abuse. We know about Bonnie's kidnapped and buried child. You think we haven't figured out Connor for being adopted? The essay is real. He doesn't deny writing that. So if there is another truth it is quite convenient that Bonnie has a secondary blanket. 4 of the K5 in their known real families. Wes was Annalise's stepson.
Everyone needs to stop hating on this okay,,,, I believe it.
When he told her she deserves better 🥺🥺
I dont think this is true tho, shes just covering for annalise
I have a feeling Bonnie was Connors mother.
That was the first thing I thought
Shane Hughes true! And wasn’t there a story about her having a baby and they did something with the baby? 🤔 Seems like they said it was buried or something. So maybe that didn’t happen. Idk
Buutttt I thought they found her son running drugs with the sister in an earlier season??
Charisse Barber I think it was not his son. It was not mentioned. I'm still left hanging about that story of his son. I hope they give it in this last season.
Bonnie is 37 as of Season 5. howtogetawaywithmurder.fandom.com/wiki/Bonnie_Winterbottom
If this is true I just hate that they made it seem like so much more. Like when he asked frank and he said “you think I’m ever gonna tell you that” as if it was so bad . He could’ve just said “bon picked you”
That's just how Frank is though, he likes messing with them
so only a small number of people Bonnie's abuse... i thought all of them already knew by now...
also gotta agree, this is too pure 😍
For the people saying he is her lost son !! I don’t think so cuz if he was then Bonnie would never let him engage with their murder think about it that way
Bonnie and Frank picked Connor and Laurel, wow they did the right thing for Annalise in the end , while the 3 Michaela , Asher in the end they did not liked Annalise (wes however liked her)
In episode 12 of season 6, Frank was said to be money greedy. I wonder the reason why he chose Laurel was beyond his predilection for her, more like he was longing for the money of Laurel’s family-Castillo. Interesting
And then it turns out he made up the story. Its lowkey funny that if he hadn't told such an awful lie.. his life wouldn't be so chaotic
Really Bonnie is a sociopath.Shes their "Dexter." First She killed Rebecca then Miller. Why Should anyone Believe a word she says?
She didn't kill Ron! It was Nate primarily. And with Rebecca... I know she was defenceless, but Bonnie was acting on her instincts to protect Annalise and the semi-normal lives they both built together, lifting one each other from damage and destruction.
Mikołaj Solik Nah she’s getting all the blame because everyone knows it’s always the woman’s fault 🙄
The dexter is actually Frank

They're all sociopaths.
I haven't watched this show in so long, so don't know what's going on or what has happened, but, 5 years too late I think? Or is it 6, to be asking that question
Name of the song?
Sam Keating told bonnie to pick him. In season six Gabriele's mom eluded to some kind of behavior between Sam and his sister. Is it possible those two were engaging in an incestuous relationship? I dnt know lol. But that would be an awesome twist

@@HisMajesty. man my mouth dropped when I found out. But I wasn't thinking Frank would be his so. Lol. That one threw me lol

Omg 😆 Is that Paris?
This didn't age great lol. Once a liar always a liar 😂 but I still love him tho 🥺
I think they realised they hadn't much time left to develop this storyline, so they closed it quickly this way.
It’s too bad he made the story up
HTGAWM is still one of the best shows to ever be on network television, right next to Scandal!
I dunno why they always did my sis dirty like what with that haircut every season
i love her haircut evolutions

That was an honorable way to be picked, but the need for HTGAWM drama in me; wishes it has been something crazy, cuz he was the last one...but since it's the final season, it had to be simple, but it was quite sweet and Noble. Definitely had a year.
What is he saying exactly at 1:56?
Mikołaj Solik you deserve a lot more good than what you’ve had

i really hoped it was because of something more intense
Bonnie is lying. Her reason was too shallow to justify why Connor was chosen. Hmm.. There could be something more. 🧐
Welll he actually didn’t last ep find out
What’s k5?
Keating 5. 5 student that where chosen to study under her.
I don't know why this appeared on my suggestion list but I will watch this because I think there's something with this.
then it turns out all he wrote in the essay is lie
Finally we know
Wow. This was a good payoff.
Well this isn't entirely true anymore💁
IKR definitely made this a gray area
Annalise used the fact that Connor’s Gay conversion essay was built on a lie (the camp didn’t exist) when she cross examined him on the stand so I think Bonnie did pick him initially for those reasons but Annalise done her research, found out the camp didn’t actually exist but kept Connor for his ruthlessness anyway 🤷🏾♀️
I feel like there’s a much deeper reasons why he was chosen but that camp crap is too good to be true haha like. Annalise choose every single one of them because they could be useful for a favor.
Michaela with her rich dad who annalise knew
Asher for the Allen case
laurel also for her powerful family
And Wes for her own guilt
But Connor I still don’t know tbh haha
Maybe he’s a another sam’s son at this point we don’t know that men like to leave sons all around
Not the most satisfying answer for him. Think we were all expecting bigger
I'm honestly a bit mad. Connor was picked because he won the trophy for the very first case, they made that really obvious. Did the writers just forget about that? I feel like they tried to come up with something melodramatic even though there was no need
Pure until we find out he didn't actually do that lmfaoooo
Can someone explain to me EXACTLY why the others were chosen (except the obvious one Wes)? I stopped watching after season 3 but am intrigued. What are the others relationships to Annalise?

Michaela’s dad was Annalise client a long time ago. She picked Asher because of his dad and frank chose laurel

I think I remember the Frank choosing Laurel reveal, but in what episode did it happen- the reveal I mean? It makes sense that Bonnie chose somebody. I’m disappointed the thought didn’t cross my mind that if Frank chose somebody, Bonnie probably did too.
Joseph Alexander
Good question. I don’t think there really had to be an episode where it was revealed that Frank picked Laurel because it was pretty much obvious from the start. But in episode 2 season 1, there’s a scene between Laurel and Bonnie where Laurel gave her theories about why Annalise chose them all and she asked if it was Frank who chose her. Annalise even confirmed it at the end of last season (season 5) that Frank chose Laurel and she never chose to hire her.
I know how you feel, I guess it occurred to me that if Frank chose Laurel, Bonnie must have chosen one of them too, but remember it’s always what and who you least expect that turns out to be the big mystery reveal on this show.
Joseph Alexander several episodes in season one. Annalise called her Franks girl in episode two
season 5 episode 15, annalise was angry at laurel and she yelled at her and you know

@@toge1543 oh yeahh
Wes and Connor were my favorite of the 5.
Conner might have been an ass sometimes (to Wes especially) but he actually matured after the incident unlike the other three
Everyone in this show is a professional liar. I hope that this is true, but I really doubt it. Bonnie always puta Annalise first, so there's a chance she's lying to get him off her back, HOWEVER! Yes, they do get to pick a student, and since Frank got Laurel, maybe Bonnie really did choose him. But i'm just wondering why she never even seemed to care about him during the entire 6 years they've been working together. She never so much as gave him the tie of day. Annalise protected Wes (albeit, her motives were far more important) Frank protected Laurel, but Bonnie never really did anything for Connor. I think they've maybe spoken 10 words to each other the entire show. So... i'm suspicious
OMG IT'S PARIS
Why some of people thought that Bonnie was his mother, I mean they are 10 years apart or probably less how could she be his mother?
She’s not his mother. Connor was 27 in season 5 while Bonnie was (around) 37. It’s stated in the show that Bonnie was around 13 or 14 when she had her baby, so the ages most definitely do not match up. A lot of people are just disappointed by how anticlimactic Connor’s reason for being in the K5 was, so they’re coming up with their own theories to give it a deeper meaning. So, although it would have been a great backstory for Bonnie and Connor, sadly it’s just not possible for it to be true.
I’m just thinking right now... If Connor never made up the story in his essay he wouldn’t have been picked for the K5 and none of this would’ve happened to him 🤯 that “little” lie basically changed his life
Yes. Including him being married to oliver
There's a fanfic i really like that explores what could have happened if Connor didn't lie. It's honestly one of my favourites.

Don MelMel nahhhh
NOPE
I am not buying it. I think Bonnie did some fast thinking and damage control because she didn't want Conner to keep digging.
It would be kind of fucked up if she used her past abuse as a coverup for Annalise's true intentions, but it does make sense that if Frank got to pick one, so did Bonnie... Don't let me down Bonbon!
Am I the only one who didn’t care why Connor was picked? Compared to everything that’s going on, this seems very petty... but watch, given the track record this show has, I would t be surprised if Bonnie was lying and the real reason is a slap in the face
I'd also pick him. Hahaha
Good to know Annaliese was the one to pick both the black people of the group 👀 Why am I not surprised
To be fair. Laurel is Hispanic. Asher was the only cis white guy chosen.
Bonnie and Connor are my favorite character on the show
I seriously think, it would be better if Asher would have played gay on the show instead on Connor, that way we will get to see a great couple in the form of Bon-Con ❤️🤷♂️
All the characters are incredibly toxic, not even Connor though - he was broken by the others even annaliese. Incredibly sad.
I actually believed her.
and then it turns out the place doesn't even exist! he lied! this is like Alex lying about having one testicle
Dam Conor is gorgeous and an good person.
It would make more sense if she the one who picked Asher since she liked him and been with him but Connor? Nah im not believing that. Also she never paid attention to him unlike Frank who fail in love with Laurel also unlike Annalise who protected Wes even after he killed sam ya know? 🙌🏻
