Anyone willing to get in any ring has some of my respect, but the thing that clinched it from me was the way Bryce handled the win. Pumped and excited, but still respectful and acknowledging that he got lucky

Big respect for stepping into the ring bare knuckled, I’d never compete without the gloves, and props to him for the knockdown, but for the remainder of the fight I had him down as losing it.. until he opponent injured himself
The injury was from a punch Bryce landed at the end of the first round
@@jextra4096 No it wasnt, it was from G overextending his arm, the injury had nothing to do with a punch that bryce threw, it was his elbow that was hurt.

I'll give Bryce credit for knocking the dude down, but he realistically won because his opponent injured himself. He spent 90% of this fight disengaging from the action and lost every engagement the two had after the knockdown. Also, him beating an "undefeated professional fighter" doesn't have much value when his opponent bloated himself up from 130lbs to 160lbs within the span of 2 months to make this happen. Plus, the guy had an extremely padded record, fighting an opponent who was 2-21-0, another opponent who was 0-4-0, and his third opponent being 1-4-0. There's very little credibility in this win.
I respect Bryce for going into one of the most dangerous combat sport competitions out there and for getting the win, but I'm not gonna ride his "hype train" over a performance that people are clearly overrating. And the people who are riding his hype train will immediately dip once he gets outclassed by Deji.

Forgot the fact that Bryce said in his interview after the fight, he didn't think he was going to win the fight if it wasn't for the injury... If he fights Deji next, he's in trouble. He waits for his opponent to come forward instead of going towards his opponent, his head doesn't move, his defense isn't good enough as he keeps getting clocked by punches to the dome and his technique isn't great.

Facts Bryce style is more suited for things like bare knuckle and possibly MMA, but his style doesn't transition well in boxing which is why deji beats him.

bryce hall did not send a dangerous message. he forced his opponent to put on 30 pounds, something i see no one mentioning, if this were a bigger influencer in an mma/boxing match i feel it would be discussed further. in the second round of the fight, his opponent couldn’t use one of his arms and bryce was walking into shots and unable to fight a disabled man. also, this is bkfc… he’s probably juiced. I can applaud the initial knockdown, but that’s it man…

During his first fight, Bryce got embarrassed in front of millions and became a meme. Did he continue to make excuses and downplay the loss? No. He got humbled.
He stepped away for a year and half and started training nonstop to actually improve himself. And when he was ready to fight again he stepped up and did what no other influencer boxer would do and did bare knuckle boxing.
Even if he had lost I think he earned back our respect. But instead he actually won and put on a crazy performance.
I've also just noticed in general that Bryce has really chilled out after his first loss. He's not the annoying tiktok frat bro anymore. Check out his interview where he talks about how his dad abandoned him and his mom when he was just a kid. He actually explains why he had a chip on his shoulder and was always angry all the time.
Losing that boxing fight was the best thing that could have happened to him. And i do think he deserves credit for how he responded to the loss.
