I actually agree with KSI here. Since the Anderson match, I feel like at the best he’s stayed the same. He’s got power and a decent left hook. Other than that, there isn’t a ton of improvement. If he treated boxing like it was a sport and not a business, he would start taking more fights with amateurs and beginning level pro boxers

@@T_money808 Ate it?? KSI's first shot of the match made Joe stagger and lean on the ropes lmao, the overhand was a light one, more of a slap and it wobbled Fournier. KSI was just getting started, two rounds in and he had already hurt Joe TWICE. Ofc Joe was able to catch on, whether u like it or not Joe is a 9-0 pro boxer that has trained with David Haye for a decade.
Also, compare KSI's preformance against Temper to KSI's preformance against Fournier, he improved so much, he was faster even though he was heavier, he was lighter on his feet, his shot selection was a lot better. He improved a ton in only 4 months, now he gets another 5+ months to sharpen his technique.
KSI showing how new he is to the sport here, nobody looks good against the Diaz brothers in striking. Not saying Jake is amazing, but I'd love to see KSI out there against Nate and see how smooth and technical he is.

I don't care about Jake but KSI can't speak he hasn't fought anyone close to Jake's opponents. Jake looked improved but it's hard to fight technical against someone as unorthodox as Nate. Jake didn't just spam overhands, he had improved footwork, better stamina, and better shot selection.

KSIs impression of the fight was spot on. Diaz was just not boxing well, and his lack of pressure made it easy for Jake to survive and not gas
I feel like against the MMA legends Jake almost pulls off a little bit after what he did to Woodley. He used to throw so hard and now it seems he’s throwing 60-70%. Either that or it’s a apart of his gameplan to not throw 100% similar to Gaethje.

It was a very unimpressive victory for JP. Nate was his most entertaining opponent though. He even landed combos and clowned around, not bad for an MMA fighter who didn't take boxing training seriously.
But Nate did take it seriously he has been boxing world champions all his life. Nate is legit man. He just got worked by Jake.

Slow pace? He threw almost 500 punches. Jake definitely didn’t regress, either JJ doesn’t understand boxing (not what I think) or he loves to troll. What he did is box a different style knowing nate is near impossible to knock out as he couldn’t get knocked out w 4 ounce gloves. Is jake an incredible boxer, no! But he’s definitely improved. Just as KSI has each fight. We don’t know how good or bad JJ is bc he hasn’t been tested since he’s started boxing for real. Personally i believe jake is a better boxer, JJ has horrific form and has no right to speak poorly abt another boxers form. That said, I do think JJ will beat Jake bc jakes glaring weakness is when he’s under pressure. He doesn’t do the right things to get out of it. Jakes biggest opportunity to win is timing JJ’s spaz attacks bc he does leave himself opened for big shots if he boxes anyone with any real ability. @primotrash777 I disagree with you there. I saw improvement from the anderson silva fight and this last fight was also pretty great (in terms of cardio, consistent power, and relying on more than just his right hand haha). It wasn't the best performance ever but impressive non the less.
@@VovinProxii I think he still relies on the right hand and sure this last fight he had good cardio but that also happens when you don't have something threatening you keeping you on your toes as much, both Silva and Tommy could have left Jake on his ass and he knew it so the more cautious he had to be but with nate lets be honest he wasn't going to knock jake out either and i think he knew that

@@primotrash777 he definitely improved for the silva fight. Against Fury I agree he didn’t look improved at all. Against Diaz, he definitely improved, he had much better footwork, and the biggest thing I saw (I’m no expert for sure though) was he recognized Diaz was going to be near impossible to ko (no one could put him out in mma w a punch w 4 oz gloves) so he took a different approach in boxing to our point diaz. He threw close to 500 punches, which that output is far away more than in any other fight. Against Woodley, both fights, he didn’t have a lot of output bc he was head hunting, not letting it come to him. He still has one glaring weakness, which is when he is getting hit w a barrage of shots he has not answer to get out of it. Saw it w Silva in the corners often and even w Diaz he would land a few good uppercuts, but the majority of the time he just sits and takes it. He definitely moved around circling a lot better this fight too. Did he drastically improve this fight? No, he didn’t. But he did improve on some of the things he wasn’t doing in his previous fights. His cardio like h said was really good, especially considering how many punches he threw. He was working the entire fight, almost too much, bc he wasn’t feinting a lot and even trying to setup the big shot. It’s why it wasn’t ever there. He got trapped in sort of throwing the same shots, not a lot of combos again, etc. His left hook was on point though, but he should’ve been following it up with body shots, it wouldn’t eventually led to leaving a bigger shot open. So improved to a degree but still isn’t seemingly putting things together in the ring he’s being trained to do.

I think what we saw in the first was Jake showing what he could do. If continued doing that, Nate was finished, but that is not what he wanted to do. They each made $20 million for this fight, and for a rematch to be marketable, Nate needed to survive and that is what Jake allowed to happen. I think it was not that we saw Jake regress, we saw Jake controlling 95% of the fight and allowed Nate to survive. I think he was making efforts to not knock Nate out unintentionally and making a rematch possible.
Jake is not afraid of KSI, he went with Nate because the money made was much, much more fighting Nate than there is fighting KSI. Jake is better than KSI and doesn't have much to gain by fighting him but KSI sees the money that fighting Jake can lead to and he definitely wants to get some of that.

Nate ,just like Ben Askren, was a layup ... I knew how the fights were going to turn out before the fights happened...just too predictable.
