Amen. Remember the guy a few years back who ran for Pres. that pushed for a flat tax and was summarily shut down by the political elites?
Sales Tax is way better - no deductions from payroll, no way to cheat or avoid, everybody pays and with today's technology the government would get their tax revenue immediately and continuously. Foreign governments would fall over themselves building businesses in the USA and unemp[oyment would be virtually eliminated.
The United States government used to be completely funded through Tariffs. Donald Trump knows that and that is why he brought back tariffs and lowered the corporate tax so that corporations- manufacturing would come back to the United States.

10% flat tax, No tax refunds, You make money, and 10% goes to the USA. The more money you make the more you pay. Simple!!! But the ones abusing the tax code are the rich. Not the poor
5 percent for under 100,000. 10 percent 100,000-250,000. And 15 percent 250,000 to 500,000. 20 percent 500,000 and above. And no returns. If you own a business you can have write offs so the tax would be on what you earned after the write offs.
Everybody pays the same or we will be right back to this point. Reagan passed a flat tax guess how many times that was amended.

Flat tax is the best solution. Has been proven. However, it would need far less bureaucrats to run it.
