I used to have a snake and we fed him live mice. Only he was picky and would only eat white mice. If it was black or had any spots he would not eat it. He'd become friends with those ones 😂

beta fish are beautiful but they are also very difficult they are verrry moody
But they're easy to take care of.
They can not eat for 14 days.
They are housed alone.
2.5 gallons can be good for them already.
They're carnivores so they can just eat ants in case of emergency.
If you're in a tropic country, heater is optional.
They're smart so they can be trained.

Yes but surprisingly there not very good for beginners. I study those animals a lot and you really cant just keep them in a small tank like people say you can. My Berta is 10 years old and he’s just a cheap one from Walmart because I keep very good care of him. (He’s in a 29 gallon tank, gets rly good food, a bubbler, heater, and a TON of soft plants because hard ones can hurt there delicate fins.)

Betta fish are really the only option for me because my school only allows fish in less than a 10 gallon aquarium and that's pretty much the only interesting fish I can think of that can humanely stay in a tank that small.

Corn snakes are great but need a lot of handling before they get that comfortable. (Raising you snake is the better option) honestly I love Milk snakes they are almost always sweet 😊. Frozen/thawed nice is always the best rout for a pet snake. This was a great video, sorry you were like dieing lol 😅

Hedgehogs are really expensive because they are prone to sickness and the vet bills are badddd. The reason you may be allergic to him is because if you don’t clean their little spikes cause you will get hives from them. Idk maybe your just allergic

One of my close friends got a hedgehog with every intention to care for it and give it everything it needed but it was so high maintenance. Not just proper food but attention and being mindful of its temperature. And she's not a newbie to animals, her parents own horses, dogs and cats so she did her research and purchased thinking it would be easy but it was not. She sold it to someone who was experienced with hedgehogs and got a cat who she's had for almost 2 years now!
You dont need a 10 gallon tank for a betta there a super easy pet you can know everything you need to in a few hours

Definitely a Syrian! Just remember not to put them with other Syrians! Also some pet stores try to fool you into thinking that different colored Syrians are different species... like a black bear hamster or a teddy bear hamster. But no. There is not a lot of species of hamsters
I have a question: my parents are divorced so I need a pet that is ok with changing their surroundings. I know that some snakes will stop eating if they change their surroundings. If anyone knows what pets are ok in that instance please let me know! Thanks a bunch.

Rats need two or more they also need bedding so they can dig in things to climb on also hamsters need At least 7 inches in an area 12 for a Syrian Also hamsters are nocturnal which means they come out at night and you’re not supposed to put two hamsters together or they’ll fight and kill each other you have to do lots of research before you get any of these animals also don’t purchase from the pet store and hamsters need a minimum of 450 in.² Victoria Rachel is great for hamsters Lennon the bunny is good for bunnies.
The only acceptable and absolute beginner's pet is either or a rock, or a plant. It's exactly like owning a pet, but for absolute, just starting beginner pet owners. Any other pet is optional.

She also wants a pet that I can take care of myself and one that's not very expensive. Then there is my little sister (9 yrs old) who wants to interact with it once in a while. Rocky Larry ferrets are extremely interactive! If you get one that are descended they are very smelly! To be honest if you keep up on the cage cleaning appropriately to each pet it should be fine all over :-) I know that corn snakes can be extremely interactive when not in the shading process. I highly recommend rats. That was my favorite pet when I was little I think :-)

Mckenzie Pagee Guinea pigs can be easy, but the care required is often very underestimated. They can be tiring in that you need to clean their cage once a week, and sometimes less, feed and refill their water. If you get one, you need to refill their water every day or else it can get gross or get feces in it and give your Guinea pig salmonella, ultimately killing them. It can also be expensive when you buy a bag of hay, food, and bedding constantly.
Peyton Pagee I agree w the above comment they’re care is expensive because their diet is 70% hay 10% pellets and 20% veggies which can be expensiive to have a constant supply of as they need all three every day. You also need two which means double the amount of food space and cage accessories. They’re also very skittish and shy so interactions will be a. Tricky subject.

Nick The Greek don’t take a hedgehog from the wild, it’s cruel and they will never warm up to you as you have taken them from their natural home. hedgehogs from breeders or pet shops have been bred and trained to be pets, they weren’t captured.

I just dont think they're good beginner pets because they require attention everyday, have to be at a certain temperature, and are very EXPENSIVE pets because they're exotic pets. For the spikes you need to try holding one for yourself because if they're defensive they could poke you and people can be sensative to that.
I dont have a hedgehog and I recommend researching for yourself if you intend to get one but I hope I kind of helped a bit :>>

It's not a serious reaction obviously so why not? If having a dog made you sneeze wouldn't you keep it still? It's a small price to pay to have a wonderful animal companion. If you wouldn't do something that small for an animal then you shouldn't get one.

A plain cat food diet is not proper care for a hedgehog. High protein cat food is a fine main food for their meals, however, that should not be their only source of food. Also, rats are not beginner pets! Yes, they can survive under minimum care but to really thrive and have a good life they require lots of attention and a larger cage than they are often kept in.

Looking for a type of pet that is small, and likes to be picked up. I don't mind difficulty level. Keep in mind, most animals are illegal where I live, so no hedgehogs, ferrets, squirrels or anythign else.
