- I take a look at the various games I made in WarioWare D.I.Y. for the Nintendo DS, preserved through WarioWare D.I.Y. Showcase on WiiWare.

Let’s appreciate that we’ve gotten a week straight of Scott content after giving us his magnum opus.

That goes for The Internet And You..
He has been feeding the children 🙏🙏
Don’t say that borderline for ever is amazing but I hope it only gets better than this
Past Scott: supposedly had no musical bone in his body
Present Scott: has had around 5 musical segments in his videos at this point
Man, how Times Change
he also has tambourine selling in his blood....pretty confusing.
well the songs werent made by scott only the lyrics
@@AttractorsAltAccount it’s a joke dude
Stupid Nintendo Games
Garret makes the songs
I can’t wait for Scott to play game builder garage.
He literally was just a year or two away from the first Public Build of Unity, like wtf...
That would be neat to see
That’d be cool.
if scott ever moves to another place again, the second to last video should be about that
@@maplechandelure HOLY SHIT THE MUDKIPS ARE MULYIPLYING
4:23 "Video Game Tycoon" by GAMESweet Software is the software he's referring to. You can tell because the back of the box basically states what Scott said about it: "Burn your games to CD and share them with your friends!"
Also the software uses Comic Sans for the user interface lol
Well, comic Sans is the most professional font and relays quality. I should buy that!
Hi Opti :D
@@saladplainzone you found me XD
I remember BEGGING my mom to get it for me at the Scolastic Book Fair. I played an unreasonable amount
The Iso appears to be available on archive .org but may have issues with copy protection.
It feels weird being reminded how young Scott is when he says “when I was a kid” about games that came out when I was 17.
That moment when the Zoomer is leading a more successful and happier life then you are at 40😫
Sheeeeeesh
Damn, you must be like 50
I have the opposite thing. I'm 15 rn lol, but I grew up with a Wii, DSI, and PS3.
Yoo are ay leyeair
SCOTT!!! YOU NEVER PLAYED “SUPER RICH”!!!! It’s the one in the top right corner of DIY 1, in between “OD Musical” and “Dark Pickle”! I will live in suspense for the rest of my days!!!
yes i am so mad about this, the people demand a follow up!!
I also noticed this and came to the comments lmao
As someone who was big into game-and-animation-creation applications/sites like Flipnote Studio/Hatena and Scratch as a kid, I sunk what felt like at least a hundred hours into this game when I got it, whether it was making my own games, comics, and music, or checking out other people's work online. Now I'm majoring game design in college, lol.
Did you ever make something as good as Super Pickel? Yeah I thought, how that college degree looking now?
**sweats profusely**
Similar case here! I'm a game programmer and it's mainly sparked behind my enjoyment of this game.
Most personally important game I've ever played :)
The bigger wozniak news gets the more impressed I am.
First
@@coleheninger5955 smh smh
Scott really disappeared for 2 months just to bless us with daily uploads
Scott's Stash doesn't conform with Scott the Woz's upload schedule.
We didn't deserve this
"The Earth was all me" Scott is god
Yeah, you didn't get the memo?
we never saw the Super Rich game on the top right... a mystery for the ages
One of the great lost video games of history.
Games that time forgot
Imagine you buy an old copy of warioware diy and just see a bunch of games with a pickle wearing a diaper
Then the person finds out this was Scott's game and sends a message saying: Scott I think I have your game. Want it back?
Especially without context. Reading these titles without the context of Wozniak News must be hella confusing.
Imma say it, I love the character design for super pickle unironically
This is super comfy, I just wanna curl up in a blanket and have my girlfriend feed me sweets while I fall asleep to Scott just talking this calmly and candidly about his childhood games and everything.
This! The vibes are immaculate!
obtaining a girlfriend is next to impossible.
@@MostlyLost What Did i do to set you off?
Imagine finding a book that declares you and your race factually cannot be cool.
Yeah I agree with that.
well humans already know that so we don’t really need a book for it, it’s funnier when people think they *can* be cool
Alternate Title: Games about Scott's old Veggietales OC
I wonder if there's any way Scott could make a full episode within Wario Ware D.I.Y? Where the whole videos narrative is stung together by a series of mini games. If there's anyone who could do it, I imagine it'd be Scott.
can't wait for oven dude in smash
I want funky pickle.
Or Stylus
Scott's Stash is the gift that keeps on giving
Disappointed that you didn't called your company WozWare.
WarioWare D.I.Y. was a dream come true for me. I was so happy to see that there was an actual WarioWare where I could make my own games. I traded my loose copy of Animal Crossing Wild World for DIY shortly after it came out, and had so much fun dreaming up microgames to make. It really taught me a lot about cause-and-effect scenarios because of how the A.I. Assembler part worked, and it was fun to "debug" the games I made. It's easily one of my most memorable DS games I ever played.
What are you doing nowadays?
@@truenickspivak meth
“Didn’t have a musical bone in my body”
clearly with all the music numbers in his videos it grew in later
Me and my 6yo are looking forward to the Nintendo Game Garage to make and share our games. We are both big fans of your work.
Now this?
This is a cool parent
I was literally binge watching this channel 10 minutes ago and now he uploads again
I think it’s cute how genuinely invested he is in his old stuff. Like he’s actually having fun with the micro games he made.
They turned the mascot if Wozniak News Magazine into a pickle! Funniest shit I've ever seen.
"Welcome to the anals of my Nintendo Wii" -Scott The Woz
That would be annals but mispronounced.
AKA 4th page of the SD card menu
This game was severely underappreciated in its time. I hope that the upcoming Game Builder Garage won't suffer the same fate.
bad news... :(
@@aquadrious Yeah yeah, lol
Honestly Scott needs his own animation channel where he can just tell stories
“you better watch out, or i’ll start a podcast.”
25:40 Not gonna lie, was waiting for him to flip us off 😂
I absolutely love this channel. It's so relaxing just listening to Scott ramble about random shit for 20 minutes lmao.
LMAOOO
13:20 Yes, it looks like it's a reskin of 9-Volt's Phantom Hourglass microgame from DIY. Originally there's 3 little blobby guys that Link slices.
So, he at least got that it was a Zelda game?
Also, the pickle guy kinda looks like he could be Sh*tpickle's baby cousin (AVGN)
I love this game with all my soul
Why do I feel like Young Scott would have loved having a Copy of Unity-2015 in the long gone year of 2010 🤔
Super Pickle would be a popular indie franchise with games on Switch
Well, now I know what to do whenever I get ahold of a time machine.
@@mondobe Yup get into back of the Van boys, were going back to 2010 with one Copy of Unity 2015 on a Thumb Drive and were going to absolutely kill the ever growing Indie Scene with Misinformation from the Future🧐. Tboi? Braid? Forget it all Super Pickle Rebirth is the new Game of the Decade😎
@@mondobe can't wait for Super Pickle: Definitive Edition for Steam, Xbox, PS4 and Switch.
Scott, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for all of this content
I remember getting so hyped for this game only to find that it was incredibly limited for no real reason.
I get that the microgames made on the DS had to work on the Wii too; but tap, drag, and d-pad+ab could have been done so easily with just the Wiimote. Everything was limited to tapping.
The creation tools were robust enough to support face buttons. You could rig up soft buttons to make more interesting games that controlled like ass.
The best games shared online were ones that wouldn’t be out of place in the first stage of WarioWare Touched.
I doubt it was for the wii,
For one the wii has a dpad and more than enough buttons to work, I think it's more due to the fact that it would be super clunky to have games that require you to use the stylus in with games that need you to use dpad only, maybe ab and only or maybe both. Tapping is jack of all traits which works for the most part.
Its so weird to watch this for me, I feel like im just inside scott’s house and hes talking about wario
Makes it super chill
-Fun- Terrifying fact: This is the closest we've gotten to a WarioWare video by Scott
That’s not fun that’s terrifying
Yeah... Lemme fix that
_”And here it is!”_
*”-but this isn’t it”*
Nice that he's posting these neat little vids on here while he's taking a break from the main channel.
Watching these are strangely pleasant. Scott really feels like an old friend with the way he talks about stupid Nintendo games.
Is he taking a break? He probably should given he just released a massive video, but I don't remember seeing anything about that
He didn’t say he’s taking a break, he just takes a month for each video lol
@@jadeamulet2339 He uploads weekly lol
@@rorysmistakes lol not recently
Kprob he back on the weekly schedule now
drop everything Scott is talking about WarioWare D.I.Y.
Warioware diy was super fun and easy to use, it’s cool to see the kind of micro games one could make with the limitations provided. I managed to make a very small demo of the undertale sans fight with it (emphasis on very small)
Nick Robinson: so I travelled across america to locate Scott's childhood copy of Wario Ware Diy
We don’t need another creep working with Scott. RelaxAlex is one too many already.
Me listening to Scott be incredibly creative at a young age, meanwhile me my entire life did like nothing but play pokemon and skyrim: "maybe I shouldn't have been an rpg guy"
I absolutely love these videos and this channel. Keep em coming Scott!
I love this game so much. It’s what got me into making music
25:40 Thought he was gonna flip Scott off😂
I love videos were Scott shows off his old stuff. It’s really nice and cozy.
I’m loving the daily uploads from this channel
Video Game Tycoon was a 3-D video game-making tool that was pretty basic, with only pre-made assets (at least, as far as I remember/knew about at the time) but it worked well enough for Elementary School me.
I made some games on there that I burned onto CDs and sold them at my school career fair. My mom even had me write a letter to the developers to get permission, so they were officially sanctioned games, which is kinda funny.
I feel like young Scott would've loved Dreams
It's nice to see how games like this one encouraged creative little kids like Scott. Really gives you the goodfeels.
I'm so happy with all of these new Scott Stash videos coming out
These Scott's videos are so relaxing...
I still remember getting D.I.Y. back in Easter 2010… I had not much experience with the game, but I still ate the music tool up like a bowl of KD.
Loved this game as a kid! Glad to see Scott make a video about it.
I just love this channel, there’s no editing, so most of the time they come out daily, and they’re just great to stick on in the background!
this is huge lore
Everyone always talks about the ScottTheWoz lore, but no one ever talks about the Super Pickle lore. 😔
Thank you Scott, it was truly an honor looking at your Wario D.I.Y. games
i adore this game
i used to make a lot of microgames back then
Omg I used to make bad web games with this exact same kind of style! Either reskins or simple repeating tasks. That pickle is amazing!
Thank you Scott, very cool.
Love it when Scott uploads
I was remembering this game just this week, the first experience with the very basics about programing games.
BTW Body Rock is the best song in the game
Thanks for all the content Scott
SCOTT THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR CONSTANT UPLOADS
Wario man periodically appearing in the bottom left corner scares me
I honestly had no idea that this Wii supplement to Warioware DIY existed. And I LOVED Warioware DIY!
scott got diy showcase on my birthday, i am honored to have such a grand event on my birthday
Can’t wait for you to play Game Builder Garage!
WarioWare D.I.Y is such a great, fun tool. I wish there were more things like it.
I can’t believe I’m getting this exclusive behind the scenes footage of the brilliant Wozniak News Software team’s development history
We need SuperPickle Vs. ShitPickle
Aw man, I remember Video Game Tycoon! I think I got the "gold" version at a Scholastic Book Fair, not that I know the difference was between versions. Luckily, it worked on my computer at the time, though the program itself is probably long gone. It's basically exactly what you thought it was. They provided 3D assets (basically PS1 quality) and allowed you to put them in places and create winstates and do other extrmely simple things like customize a HUD. I was like 7 or 8 when I tried using it, so there's no way I actually remember any of what it could do. I didn't play it as much as other games, since I had no clue how to use it (though I do remember driving cars around the demo levels), but hearing the title definitely triggered some memories.
It's fun to see his hand motions through the cursor.
9:08 this is where he finally starts looking at the microgames
Can’t wait for super pickle to be part of the Scott the wozz canon
WHERE DO YOU STASH THE DINO NUGGIES SCOTT????
We need a borderline forever commentary with some of the main cast!!!!!!
I used to play this all the time as a kid too! I got it for Easter too. I feel like I played so much I still remember the programming rules 😂 I made games and comics based on my favorite games and shows. I remember being proud of a Portal 2 microgame and Adventure Time Comic I did…
I enjoyed going trough this and unlocking my own memorys and reflecting on them.
I used the glitch that allowed use of the infinite timer, and also tried using a save file editor.
But an interesting parralel here is when I went to highschool and got a graphing calculator. It was my best friend
and I would take it to partys, go up to people and ask for program requests. I couldnt even make pong but I would try
The easiest thing to make was a do go there do this zelda kind of game, I could make screens and subworlds.
Hey, I got wario ware diy recently! Its super nice!
I actually did have Video Game Tycoon, it was an actual video game creation software but it was VERY limited, but you could for sure burn the (very simple) games onto discs. It is exceptionally hard to find any information about it today for whatever reason and my copy is long gone unfortunately
This should be on your main channel. Loved this game so much!
That’s a lot of Wii Digital Games. I have already watched the WiiWare Chronicles, but I’ve never seen a Wii Menu this filled up before.
Super Pickle is peak character design
IT'S ART
baby
Have yet to play DIY (will have to via DS emulation) but after trying out the ones available on the Wii U EShop (Touched, Smooth Moves, Minigame Mania) and enjoying Rhythm Heaven DS and the Wii entry on Wii U/GBA via emulation I'm interested to try the other Wario Ware entries and I wasn't too into minigame collections but the microgame experience is just so interesting. Cool to see you could do this with the Wii and to see how things were with someone that did use it. I also loved Level Creators back in the game but not so much anymore (Super Scribbenauts level creator, a few LittleBigPlanet games, Flash games with Level Editors, or using PowerPoint slides and shapes to make 'levels' XD).
Would have to agree with the comics part as I also have my comics in drawers mixed in with my DVDs/Blu-Rays and on paper it just works much better than a digital version even though the comics look like just creations from FlipNote it seems or at least that's the connection I see.
Wow, what a resume builder.
Scott owns TV Show King, that's a true accomplishment
I'm glad Scott didn't show the vore comic.
i put soooo much time into this game as a kid i really wish i still had my original copy
you can still inspect your code! it lets you inspect the code of any microgame you download from showcase
These are fucking adorable scott
Hey Scott,
first of all, thank you for this video. When i was 13/14 i also digged deep in this game, today i study computer science because it startet my interest in programming. The micro game you copied at 13:42 was not classic zelda 1, it was a zelda phantom hourglass skin, just for your info ^^
WarioWare D.I.Y. was the first game I really got excited for before launch, and was excitedly reading all I could about it in Nintendo Power until it came out.
You are a very creative person and it makes me ashamed of myself
Can't wait to see Super Pickle in the 300th Scott the Woz episode
I would love a video game tycoon video. I also bought it from scholastics. It worked on my pc and I remember it was okay but a bit limited
