There was a recent new update to the game that came out sometime last week regarding the 1 year anniversary when this fan game was first created (to be exact, Sonic's birthday back in 2023).
Things noted from the update include an addition to now having 10 players in races, added rings to the town section in Resort Island, and several character stat tweaks!
Main focus with this exact update features 2 new characters, Mighty & Ray! The way to unlock them is by collecting all 5 tokens in Radiant Emerald. This video showcase shows you how to do it exactly, along with all the other stages.
