- For all of you wondering when I'll get y'all some more Hank up, wait no more! There's still more to come! This is from the 1968 overdub of the MGM album "Wanderin' Around," track 10.
As I always like to say, there is no copyright infringement intended on these. The overdubs have never been available on any digital format, nor is it likely they will be. If the "powers that be" have an issue with these being up, please ask me and I'll take them down. Don't start throwing copyright strikes at me. I'm simply a Hank fan trying to bless other Hank fans with things that are not as common as the official CD/digital releases.
Look guys I was just kiddin' about the strings. I have the MGM RTR tape of more Hank and strings and I like this kind of thing. All of the 50s tracks are still around. This overdub is a great sound and if it is on CD I would buy it if I saw it.
This brings so much more energy to the song. I love it!
Normally I'm a purist, but this overdub brings the song to life. There is another stereo overdub, but this one is excellent.
The only Dubbed recording they left untouched on the Very Best of Hank Williams.
Next thing, they"ll back him with a string section !
Lol!!!
Already been done. (1966)
I was about to say Hank with strings was released back in the 60s
